  • CashBack doesn't work with subscribe prices?

    • no

      • +1

        First order is eligible

        • ohhh it's new

    • +1

"recurring subscribe & save items (first order is eligible)"

first one is eligible as per TA.

      • must be new!

      • Awesome, just cancelled the cat food.

$230 order, so bonus $20+ is great!

  • +1

    Now you tell me :(
    Items already shipped.

    • sucks to be you bud

  • So for subscribe and save items do we still click add to cart first? And then change it to S&S at checkout?

  • @tightarse will it work with zippay?

  • +1

may have been asked already, are purchases made of items in amazon us/ uk via amazon australia eligible?
    thanks

  • -2

This might be the first time cashback applies to every category on Amazon

    • +2

It's not. SB had one yesterday for all categories. Similar offer a few times per year around Prime Day and Boxing Day

      • Maybe I need to get more stuff from Amazon

  • The $10 credit to Amazon prime sign up would void cashback right?

    • +2

Correct. Promo credit will disqualify any potential CB

  • -1

    Based off my shitty calculations.

The total needs to be $185.20 which takes into account GST.

  • +3

$183.33 is the amount you need to spend to get the full $20 cashback

  • Includes international items bought from AU site?

    • +1

      Yes, but please read this.

  • guess I'm returning what I bought yesterday then.

edit: I take that back, the item was cheaper yesterday than today and the difference is exactly 12%

    • seriously ? jack is in the amazon house?

  • +6

Nothing to buy from Amazon this year, all crappy things no deal

  • ref All Categories, what does this really mean? since electronics and food and drink are usually 0% will we in fact get 12% back on these Categories if purchased 4-6pm?

    • ALL categories. They are categories

      • From CR site it said this "Cashback is ineligible on purchase of vouchers, gift cards, kindle unlimited, audible, mobile apps, recurring subscribe & save items (first order is eligible), prime subscriptions, and all 0% cashback categories."

  • yeizzz lucky I waited

  • Luckily managed to cancel my $200 item even though it was close to be shipped. $20 off will be nice.

    • could buy it twice annyawyas and return the first item

  • I won't be by my PC at the time where I've always done CR. How is their android app?

    • Pretty decent. Very rarely come across tracking issues

  • +1

Do Amazon US purchases qualify if buying through amzon.com.au?

    • +1

      Yes, but please read this.

  • +2

Thanks for the 2 hour window. Much better than the 1 hour from Shopback yesterday

    • +3

In all fairness to Shopback, the window is set by Amazon, not by the cashback providers.

  • Forgive me if a stupid question, I understand it's 'all categories' but there are also exclusions listed in the OP - are Kindle books included in the cashback or excluded?

    • +2

No such thing as a stupid question. Kindle books should be fine.

  • Could anyone please explain what this term means "Use of Amazon credit as partial or full payment is ineligible for any cashback."

    • +4

If means that if you have any credit in your Amazon account (added from a refund, or from a gift card or voucher), and you use some or all of this credit to make your Amazon purchase today during that 2 hour window, your purchase will NOT be counted for any cashback.

In other words, use a credit card or similar, if you want to have the cashback count.

      HTH =>

      • Thank you so much for replying z z. Just to clarify - I can pay partially with Amazon Gift Card and the rest using Credit Card and it will still be eligible for Cashback is that right?

        • +2

Purchases paid with gift cards are eligible for cashback. Should be fine :)

      • I've got credit in my account from a refund - but it shows up as an Amazon gift card balance (as the original item was paid for via an Amazon gift card). I'm thinking that gift cards are different from Amazon credit (which may be added to your account for different reasons, item late, customer satisfaction, etc…).

Or am I getting this all wrong?

update checked with an Amazon rep via chat and she confirmed Amazon credit/promotional credit is different from Amazon gift card balances. If you're buying from a 3rd party - then you can use gift card balances towards it - but only items sold and fulfilled by Amazon will allow the promotional credit to be applied against it (good thing to look out for).

      • +1

amazon credit and gift voucher balance are two different things

        • +1

amazon credit and gift voucher balance are two different things

Yes, and easy to catch people out. One is eligible for cashback, the other isn't. Please check carefully before purchasing.

  • 4-6 pm in…Sydney time?
What time do I need to purchase as I am in Adelaide?

    • You're always half an hour behind

    • 3.30-5.30pm

  • First subscribe and save is eligible :o ?!?

    Ah well

    • +1

First purchase of every new order is eligible - the recurring orders aren't.

  • Been spending a ton in the last 2 days. Let's see what else I don't need to take advantage of this.

  • +1

Will this work with Amazon’s welcome promo code?

    • @tightarse i need to know too please

  • -1

So purchases must be less than $166.66 to get cash back.

    • +1

No, you can happily purchase over that amount. It's just that you won't get any cash back for the portion above that amount (the $20 cap).

As the terms / conditions have just changed (you can now do multiple transactions)… You could try and spend in multiple transactions up to that amount, to reach your $20 cashback cap per transaction =>

  • how does CR track if it is a first subscribe and save purchase?
For example, I put my first order in yesterday but cancelled today.
Does that still count as a first subsribe and save purchase if I ordered it today?

Also, since we need to put everything on one transaction, I assume the other items which are eligible for cashback would still go through?

    • I don't think CR tracks and S&S purchase. Also it's not $20 max cashback per transaction.

      • I thought first S&S is eligible? unless you meant something else.

      • +1

I don't think CR tracks any S&S purchase

Yep, we do. Please read the terms:

Effective 21/06/21 - Each first (new) order of subscribe & save purchases is eligible for cashback. Recurring orders of the same product are ineligible.

        • +1

Apologies, that's good to know for future deals

    • For the 2nd part of your question — it appears multiple transactions ($20 cap per transaction) are now allowed. Yay!

      • oh must have missed that part. thanks for the heads up! I might do them in separate transactions then just in case!

  • Ensure your Amazon cart is empty before clicking from Cashrewards, as items added prior to clicking will not earn cashback.

Does this also apply to having items in the saved for later part of the cart, or is it only necessary for your checkout cart to be empty when you start?

I cannot get Amazon to track for me, regardless of what I do with adblockers or empty carts, etc. Every other site tracks fine, and I am at a loss to work out why.

    • Have you tried purchasing through the CR App on phone, instead from desktop?

      • No, in my experience there seem to be more restrictions using the app, it doesn't always qualify. The desktop app seems to be free of those restrictions.

        • I have never used a desktop for CB. Always app and never had an issue

        • The app tracks all my Amazon order, everytime.

          Desktop, not all the time.

  • Do purchases from Amazon US via Amazon.com.au qualify?

    • +3

Yes - proviso is that you go Cashrewards -> Amazon AU -> Amazon US. Do not go direct from Cashrewards to Amazon US by pasting links etc, as it will fail.

  • Is Smart Watch under watches 6% or Electronics 0%?

    • Watches category excludes smartwatches & fitness trackers (ineligible).

      • This is for All Categories so doesn't matter even 0%?

  • All prime day deals show up with ‘promotions applied’ discount at checkout screen. Is this going to be an issue? There’s an investigation over at the SB thread to see if this will have an effect. This will be interesting as Amazon promotional credit also show up as ‘promotion applied’ which as I understand makes the transaction ineligible.

    • +1

If you check over at that thread, Shopback rep has responded to this issue and confirmed that those transactions will be eligible.

      • Thanks for this. I actually asked Shopback said it wouldnt be tracked but that was earlier than their other response which they confirmed it would be tracked. I just made a made dash for an SD card b4 6pm and got that promotion applied automatically. hopefully cashrewards will track.

  • Can you use the amazon welcome credit to buy a giftcard? To be able get cashback?

    • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of vouchers, gift cards

      Buying gift cards? No.

Using gift cards to checkout? Yes.

      • I am implying is there a way to use my welcome $10 (amazon credit)* buy a giftcard in order to use it to be eligible for the cashback.
        * Haven't sign up to Amazon so I can't test.

        • Don’t think you can use the welcome credit to purchase gift card

  • Is the time range based on the "click through" time or the "check out" time?

    • to be safe, assume both

  • -1

    Ready to go broke .:)
Max out limits everywhere with gift cards already .
    Down to s8 Coles MC's .

  • What time is it?

    IT'S CASHBACK TIME

    • +1

or IT'S ME BECOME POOR TIME

  • -1

Cancelled 15% cashback from shopback..coz they are not very reliable. item not shipped yet

    12% from cashrewards better

    • +1

Yes. 12% is definitely better than 15%.

  • +2

so I should not apply the % coupon with the small checkboxes on some products?

  • What to buy? :(

    • Guys seriousley, I am out of idea. I have shopped a lot of things and now don't know what I might like. :(

  • -3

Sounds like another CR scam to get you in to spend, then track the transaction and not approve it later on. Seems like a trend with CR lately, irrespective of what they advertise, they never seem to honour what they promote!

    • +2

its kind of bigstereotyping but yeah i get the idea and not disagree much

    • +6

That's a pretty sweeping statement and I can assure you an incorrect one. Where are you seeing this 'trend' exactly lol? Anyway, happy to help you sort out any issue you may have if you'd kindly PM our new rep minita. If we were a scam, I doubt we'd be in business today :)

  • lol, sign no deals

  • ok tested purchased one item $59 with part giftcard part credit card payment
lets see if i got the email tracking correct or not

    • tracking is not instant so not sure how you can test it within 2 hours lmao
