Good price on this dual bay HDD docking station that comes with inbuilt cloning, though I find that to be a bit a novelty and software does it better.

  • The red version is even cheaper @ $32.99

    • Cheers updated.

  • So many data loss horror stories with such things. Is this a good one?

  • -3

Support only 8tb drives makes it worthless
The best $/tb is 12 or 14 tb nowadays

    • +1

If you have over 8TB then it's worthless, but if you have HDDs under then it's certainly useful.

    • What causes the size limitation? Something in the controller in the device?

    • -1

Well go even further then, drives are worthless, everything is streaming and cloud storage now man.

  • I bought a new version, with the support of 10TB disks, and I am pleased with the device. It also used as a USB hub, nice thing. They removed the newer version from the listing now, probably due to the discount.
