Google Nest Audio $95 in-Store @ Bunnings ($90.25 Price Beat @ Officeworks)

180

It looks like Bunnings got tired to price-match TGG & JB & OW so they dropped the price to $95
In-store only as far as I can see - of course you can always price-match @ OW for $90.25 :)

  • I got Jbl Link music for $49 and Jbl Link portable for $69. Is this speaker worth to try out?

    • It’s a great deal at this price. I got mine for $149 and not complaining at all. Especially if you use YouTube Music (formerly Google Play Music). That said, you’re better off getting 2, because they can be paired in stereo mode. I have 2 Google Maxes paired in stereo mode, and the true stereo separation (one speaker at either end of the room) is music to my ears. The fact that most music is recorded in stereo is rarely talked about in reviews of smart speakers. To get proper stereo, you need proper separation of your speakers. The Nest Audio doesn’t go anywhere near as loud as the Google Max, but it actually has better sound at lower volumes in my opinion. The Google Max suffers from a loss of mid-range at low volumes. The advantage of Google smart speakers is that you can add any number of speakers to a speaker group, giving you music in multiple rooms, and enabling you to easily control the volume of each speaker independently of the others without fiddling around with complex settings.

  • Zip is offering $20 cash back with $100 purchase at JB. Their google Nest is $99, so add something small to your basket and grab the cash back to around $80-$85
