I switched from my 2yr old ds4 to one of these thinking they'd be better and had horrible stick drift within the month. My friend also had the same outcome in less time than I. I wouldn't touch these with a 10ft pole. Quality assurance nowadays isn't a thing.

Now there's your problem right there.

Similar experience. On my third controller since launch.

        That's bananas..No form of recourse?

Had the first two replaced from EB Games. Third time around they just straight up refused stating that it's "not being used as intended". Whatever that is supposed to mean….I'm the sole user and mostly just play Overwatch. Figured it wasn't worth the headache to argue and just bought a new one.

          • @Pudina Chutney: It's strange because when you look at the 8000+ reviews for the controller on Google reviews it seems to be overwhelmingly positive. Im sure Sony couldn't have loaded reviews to thar degree. I've had one for almost 2 months. Going strong. Kids putting it through hell and back.

I'm sure your experience was just as you said but that's why it's all so weird - didn't realise there was a widespread problem.

I'll keep a close eye out in case they start shutting themselves tomorrow, next week, next month. Thanks for sharing your experience.

          • @Pudina Chutney: Man that is horrible to hear. I knew there was something wrong with these compared to the ds4 because I thrash my controller on Fortnite solely and only just had some drift after 2 years on it compared to a month on the brand new dualsense.

@Pudina Chutney: Tell them you'll go to consumer affairs or small claims and point them to the class action lawsuit and see if they have the same attitude.

  • Terribly inconvenient to use on pc
