190

Great price for a fantastic game with a fantastic soundtrack. If you have not already played it yet, here is your chance to grab it cheap.
I can highly recommend this game but be warned: if you do not like a challenge, take a chill pill before playing!

Note: If you do not have HB Choice or want to save yourself 7 cents outright (disregarding the money going back into your HB account), then you can buy the game on Fanatical for $2.60 using the code "BOOSTEROIDSUMMER": https://www.fanatical.com/en/game/hotline-miami

From the website:

Hotline Miami is a high-octane action game overflowing with raw brutality, hard-boiled gunplay and skull crushing close combat. Set in an alternative 1989 Miami, you will assume the role of a mysterious antihero on a murderous rampage against the shady underworld at the behest of voices on your answering machine. Soon you'll find yourself struggling to get a grip of what is going on and why you are prone to these acts of violence.

Rely on your wits to choreograph your way through seemingly impossible situations as you constantly find yourself outnumbered by vicious enemies. The action is unrelenting and every shot is deadly so each move must be quick and decisive if you hope to survive and unveil the sinister forces driving the bloodshed. Hotline Miami’s unmistakable visual style, a driving soundtrack, and a surreal chain of events will have you question your own thirst for blood while pushing you to the limits with a brutally unforgiving challenge.

Enjoy!

One of my favourite games of all time. Greatly enjoyed the sequel too.

I just want them to unban Hotline Miami 2 so I can play it on Steam legally. I love the sequel way more than the first.

    • Same. I have a US PSN account just so I can play HM2, which I do more often than 1.

I got the WW key from cdkeys, just added to my steam account no VPN required, no issues. HM2 is great

      • Nice @Bid Sniper, thanks for the tip. Did you buy the WW key recently? I think I might do that!

I previously had bought it on a US PSN account, but lost the password. Haha.

2-3 months ago, worked on my AU steam account just fine

  • I can never make it past the first level in this game, just can't seem to get the hang of the controls and keep getting killed in the very first lobby area

Bobs head to acid wave music
“Damn this game is hard but fun”.

The soundtrack alone is worth buying the game for; this game and its sequel are a gateway into the synthwave/darksnyth/vaporware genres.

Highly recommend some Perturbator, Kavinsky, MegaDrive and Carpenter Brut if you're looking for similar sounds.
