$15 express delivery to VIC. Comparable Corsair HX1000 is $329

Pay with klarna and get it for $149.25 with this offer. Offer expired.

My PC consumes 730w under full load and fan of this PSU doesnt even turn on under eco mode. Build quality is excellent and it got plenty of cables and connectors.

  • Anyone know how good these compared too other highend 1000 watt power supplies? and are they true 1000 watt power supplies?

    • +16

Super flower makes their own PSU's unlike most other brands. And yes its true 1000w. Super flower is comparable to the quality of Seasonic

    • +13

Superflower is the OEM for some of the high end EVGA/corsair units and some other notable companies. No quality issues here.

      • +3

Yep, the good thing with buying SuperFlower is that you know for sure you're getting the real deal and not some unknown OEM.

    • +2

I upvoted the other two comments, silly name for sure, but great reputation for PSUs.

    • +1

      Superflower is very reputable

As a DIY PC builder I have been using

      http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/PSUReviewDatabas…

for years to determine the OEM of a power supply before purchasing

  • +1

the best brand of PC power supply.

  • +1

Great price I paid $249 a few months back and that was a good deal. Been super happy with it. Running a 6900XT and 5800X and doesn't even break a sweat.

  • +1

    This was originally $149..

    • Nvm, ignore mistaken model

    • +3

      Name checks out

    • +4

      Lol

    • +2

lol read the above comment..Super Flower is the OEM manufacturer for many of those good brands. You can deal directly with the retail shop for warranty

    • +5

Were you born 2 years ago?

    • +1

Super flower used to be the best power supplies in the late 90s to the mid 00s. The quality was far superior to any other brand, i still have an old super flower from those times that works almost 20 years later.

      • +1

I remember the first time I saw a Super Flower in the wild. 2003 or 2004 Computer Fair at Parramatta Town Hall. It was the first PSU that I knew of that had a massive 12cm or 14cm fan. Unheard of in those times.

  • My PC consumes 730w under full load

may i ask what you are mining?

    • +4

Stress testing with OCCT. 6900xt (360w power limit), 5900x, 9 lian li uni fans. AIO cooler, 4 sticks of 3800mhz cl14 ram

    • +1

Around 620w when mining with nicehash. Monero with cpu and eth with gpu 63mh/s

      • now you sell the 6900xt and get a 3080 for that beautiful 100+ MH/s

        • +1

I already got a 3080ti ftw3 ultra sitting unused for like a month lol

      • Is CPU mining worthwhile/profitable? I looked into it briefly and I was under the impression it was like $0.01 AUD per day

        • $2 max a day with like a good 5950x, prob more with cpus with 16+ cores. if your doing gpu mining and you have an ok cpu, no reason not to do it cause you cant use your computer anyway

  • +4

Who else read that as flower power

    • -3

Only if you don't know anything about a major computer power supply manufacturer.

    • +3

After reading your comment I realised it wasn't flower power!

  • 5 years warranty, why I can never buy super flower psu

    • Backed by a 7 year Super Flower warranty

      • +1

Wow, so they give a 1000w platinum 7 years warranty but 5 years warranty for 1600w titanium, wtf

        • Looks that way, or maybe pccg got it wrong.

          • @garetz: I checked their website, only 5 years

  • +1

1000 watt platinum with 100% Japanese 105°C Capacitors and 7 years warranty for $150 is pretty much unheard of

  • How do these compare to Shaw power supplies???

    • shaw is like massive home brand.

      this absolutely murders it.

    • Well you can buy like 8 Shaw PSUs for this sort of money, which will give you a lot more BANG for buck

      • It SHAW will explode no doubt

  • +1

Thanks OP. Bought one. Had to cancel another order from harristechnology. Those guys are never going to sell me anything from now. Lol

  • +2

But I don't want to buy with Klarna

    • +1

      $199 is still a deal

      • +1

        for a 1000w its a good deal

        • any disadvantage if I don't use all the power will it be super efficient and pretty much silent then? Using a 750w evga atm no issuies.

          • @RtN: it would be an expensive spare then - generally 1000w's unless even cheaper are for the power hungry or very hot settings when you want minimal internal heat generation.

  • How does one check there PC systems power load or full power load consumption?

    • There are various tools online. Just do a search.

For example you can use the link below to get an idea

      https://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/

      • Thanks, ok ones calculating the power requirements so no actual app that will read power usage from PC hardware, I guess next best thing is to monitor the 240 volt lines power usage with a meter

  • Tempted to get one of these just in case Corsair give me trouble trying to make a warranty claim on the intermittent fault with my now 5 year old RM1000i.

    • Should do. Corsair service is excellent. When I had to get an HX650 PSU that stopped working in February 2020 just inside the 7 year warranty. I messaged them and they agreed to replace it with a brand new RM850x at there expense. After I sent them a copy of the original purchase receipt and the PSU serial number. Just had to send it to Taiwan with prepaid courier and all the appropriate customs documentation provide by Corsair.

Wasn't too worried about how long it would take as I had a spare I could test PC and use until the replacement arrived. Which only took just under 4 weeks since it was sent from Corsair Hong Kong. I Understand how frustrating it can be if you don't have one and need one just to use the PC while you wait for the warranty replacement.

      • Interesting that you dealt directly with Corsair rather than through the retailer you purchased it from, was going to take mine back to PLE computers but now I'm tempted to contact corsair directly.

        • It was either take it back to the retailer or send it directly to Corsair. As the retailer told me. Since there is no Corsair service centre in Australia they were just going to send it back to Corsair overseas anyway. As it was outside there usual warranty but still within warranty from Corsair. For me it was easier and quicker to deal directly with Corsair and not have to deal with the retailer.

          • @g12345567: Fair enough, I have now contacted Corsair directly and shall see what they say.

      • Wouldn't know the warranty length of Corsair as I have a faulty 1000 watt Corsair powersupply

Though only issue I wasn't the original owner and don't have the original receipt

  • Question. With the klarna promotion am i able to have multiple different items in my checkout? Or is the promotion only available for single items?

    • Anything and multiple items allowed

    • +1

I have done 2 checkouts. Got the we've got you covered email for both. Did all 3 payments for both so now I'm just waiting. Total order amount is under 2k for both transactions together.

      • Just curious, did you get the "We've got you covered" email straight after the first payment? or did you get it after your 3rd payment? I didn't receive any after my first payment. :(

        • I got it after my first payment for both orders. Was within 3 minutes for both I think.

          • @Notoriousbird: all good, found the email, Gmail sorted it into the "Promotions" tab. Cheers!

  • Thanks OP very good brand power.
Ordered with klarna post + delivery $215 total.

  • +1

    Thanks OP.
