KFC is the traditional Christmas dinner in Japan. One of many things that make it an amazing country.

Pretty much the same in my house, except it's not in Japan and not Christmas.

Jokes on you friend, just checked the app and can order in Tas.

      •

        🤷🏻‍♂️

      • +3 votes

No mask required too. There's no such thing as COVID in Tassie and hasn't been all year.

        (how to make mainlanders mad).

          oh wait different mainland hmm

    •

They are available in TAS but only via the app (other places are over the app or in store)

How is this a deal, it was 10 pieces for $8 last week.

    • +5 votes

Whilst that deal was better, it was Tuesdays only. Also looks like Gippsland and Newcastle stores get a 20 for $20 deal with 10 OR and 10 nuggets. Tasmania gets nothing.

      •

… TAS has 10 for $10 Tender, but only through the app..

Any idea how long it'll last?

    • +16 votes

I usually finish them within 4 minutes

    •

Depends how quick you eat them

  •

Whereabouts in the menu is this? Can’t see it anywhere

    •

It's in the NEW PRODUCTS section as well as the ordinary Chicken section.

      •

Thanks, not there for me. I guess my local is one of the “not everywhere” locations :(

Edit: appears for pick up but not delivery

        • +1 vote

the deal is only available for delivery via the app in SA, no where else.

    •

I have the same problem. I'm in South Yarra.

Paying for KFC… just does not feel right.

    • +1 vote

Haha. Especially when you have like 40+ pieces in the freezer from the bucket hunt :)

  •

    What the heck Newcastle

  •

Can you still add 4 sides for $9.95? The offer only shows under build your own bucket.

    • +1 vote

Yeah, that's where you order it from now. It's under the BYOB menu, but it isn't a part of the BYOB thingy; they're not exclusive with BYOB.

Has anyone ever had good tenders at KFC? I reckon the coating is way too thin. Always just tastes soggy, greasy and not crispy enough for my liking.

Wicked wing coating on tenders would be incredible.

    • +2 votes

Kind of, the crispy strips before they switched to this BS. It was a sad day.

      •

Hmmm. These used to be the same ones on twisters, no?

        •

I believe so, I haven't had one in years. Think they switched to these tenders now.

    • +1 vote

They would have absolutely no flavour with the coating used on wicked wings on tenders. Tenders are not a marinaded product which is why they are breaded in original.. to add flavor. Crispy breading (used on WW & Zingers which are marinated products) adds no flavour, so they would be too plain.

  •

Tenders are always so salty, cant have em without sauces to neutralize the sodium

    • +2 votes

I swear some places just make them wrong or the recipe is vague.

I've had super salty tenders as well as normally seasoned ones!

  •

I don't know why but when I paid it added a $4 discount to the order so only cost me $6.

  • +1 vote

    No dipping sauce? :(

    • +1 vote

No, it's 50c per tub, not included with this deal which is fair enough..

      • +3 votes

So KFC owes me about $500 for all the sauces they fail to include in my drive thru orders.

  •

    Dem tendies… TO THE MOON…

    •

are you some kind of reddit catchphrase posting bot?

      •

Was trying to see if there's any r/ASX_Bets degens around… But guess not

  •

ive had them a few times and they are really just sliced chicken breast dont thin they are actually chicken tenders

  • +1 vote

Thanks OP love KFC chicken even though I used to work there as a teenager.

  • +1 vote

It is just me, I find their tender size is getting smaller every month. Used to be at least 15 cm long some could be 18cm.

Now max that I can find is 12cm.

    •

Ask a female employee if the size has changed. They’ll be honest…

    •

It’s winter, gets pretty cold these days

  •

The $8 for 10 tenders deal I got some seriously small and pretty terrible tenders…. Is that what this deal will yield also?

Or is it just luck of the draw?

    • -1 vote

the $8 for 10 tenders still better than $8 for 5 pcs chicken… i felt disappointed when I got my 5 pcs chicken… it was like 5pcs of quail

  • +2 votes

Anyone know when hot n spicy will be back?

  •

Possible to use the $25 NSW Dine Voucher with the app somehow?
Maybe make the order on the app, choose to pay in cash and then just show the voucher?

  •

No longer available across many restaurants I tried in Townsville.
