Your site says "Unique Size", but according to the Garmin site (and Amazon) these come in either Small/Medium, or Large. Which one is this please? Or how do we specific in the order, as there's no way to select?

Checked with the online chat, regardless of the "Unique size" part, they only have the S/M in stock, not the large.

Hey @boundedRationality the size on the website is S/M. We're updating that as we speak :)

I have the Vivosmart 4 (having had the Vivosmart HR before it) but recently changed trackers.

    Pros of the Vivosmart 4:
    - smart notifications. I don't have an Apple Watch so I've found smartphone notifications a must-have for a tracker. It's super convenient being able to check text messages or cancel incoming calls with a tap on the tracker screen. And unlike Fitbit, it's not just phone calls and texts (which have given way to WhatsApp/SIgnal/Messenger etc these days)
    - strong Bluetooth. I've put my phone in a gym locker and I'll get notifications while wearing it in the exercise class nearby. Cheaper trackers seem to have weaker BT radios. The V4's stronger BT means you can also use it to find your phone, Tile-style.
    - reasonably trim on the wrist (previous models were real tanks!)
    - good band fastening - it won't pop off automatically. Cheaper trackers often use a crappy stud fastener design that comes off way too easily

    Cons (and why I changed):
    - monochrome screen. Most trackers by say, Xiaomi or Amazfit are colour - you can even have photos as wallpaper
    - terrible in the pool. While it has a lap tracking feature, it thinks water droplets are finger touches! So it can end your swim at any random moment
    - the app is just ugly and poor. I had huge problems syncing it to my Pixel 3, though it's easier with the iphone 12 Mini. The app itself has almost no insights that are pushed out to you (you have to consciously go into it and read stuff yourself), which makes it pretty limited as something to encourage good habits. It's also only available with a black background, which isn't particularly pleasant.
    - patchy sleep tracking. It certainly won't detect naps.
    - inferior battery life. 4-5 days is quite decent compared to smart watches, but the cheaper competitors (see below) have at least a week.
    - the charger is a huge pain - very fiddly to attach (not magnetic)
    - they've changed the music player control so it requires a second, quite precise press to access Skip track. When you're running or cycling, it's hard to do, defeating the purpose of the feature

It was still worth wearing for the smart notifications and when I'd proactively go into the app to look at my sleep data. Then I discovered the Xiaomi Band 5 and Amazfit Band 5 were a fraction of the price (usually about $50 or so), colour screen and had the same features. I can even choose which app's notifications I get on my tracker - with the Vivosmart, you don't get to choose.
