      Same

    • Got a whole garage full of Dewalt gear. Ive learnt most of their bits are pretty trash… but ild still buy it at $20 if its at my Bunnings next time i go

    • Hopefully better than the Ryobi kit that I've broken majority of them on

Here's an opinion from a previous post re DeWalt posted by a fellow OzBargainer.

The tl;dr of it is that these might be crap and you might be better off with Makita Impact X bits.

It's not the same bit set nor have I personally owned either sets. Also, I am not in the trade so I know nothing. And it being an internet comment, take what you will.

P.S.: Will these bits fit hammer drills?

      • I have pretty bed experience with Makita, Kango works better in my experience

        • Luck of the draw and individual use I guess. Thanks for your input, I'll keep an eye out for Kango.

          • @settings: The worst thing was the bit broke and stuck in the screw head and the whole Makita set I had was bad but like what you said is all individual experience

            • @[Deactivated]: Jeez! That sounds bad and off putting enough to steer clear of a brand. I can certainly see your position. Haven’t pulled the trigger to purchase a bit set just yet so thanks for sharing!

    • for 20 bucks…. really what do u expect?

    • The dewalt bits are crap.

  • Oooo

I’m looking for impact socket set if you spot anything :D

  • DWA2T40IR

This is the same listed on sydneytools website :

  • Do you have the image of the price tag itself? You can get it price matched with other Bunnings stores showing the discounted price tag.

Weird. PowerPass has it showing as retail $25, PowerPass price $23.75.

  • Replacing the battery in my iPhone next week. This will be perfect. Great timing. Cheers op.

  • Was checking for stock at local stores and found the Bunnings website is down for maintenance

    • You should start a forum thread about it

  • This is coming up as $25 RRP in the Powerpass app.

No idea where that $39.98 came from on the tag, but still seems OK value even above $20

Picked up a set today at Gordon NSW with Powerpass $23.75.
Looks like it's discontinued since it's no longer on the site. Managed to find a cached version but unfortunately no price coming up.
Previous Amazon deals have RRP at $60-90 but has been as low as $25.
Considering the 35 piece kit is $47.99 the original price must have been $60+.

    • Great, that's within my 10kms radius.

Will check it out tomorrow when I go for my "essential" shopping at Coles-Worth.

  • Perfect timing just bought this dewalt dcz1080p3 on clearance at bunnings gregory hills for $1499 is that a OzBargain deal?thanks!

My AEG seem to last longest but according to youtuber Project Farm the above makes some good stuff.
