Lenovo Tab P11 Android Tablet $329 (RRP $499) @ Lenovo Education Store

A decently made Android tablet with a 400nit 2000x1200 screen. Can view Netflix HD content. Pop a MicroSD card in it and you've got a very capable and inexpensive media tablet.

Looking for a good 8 inch tablet to replace my Lenovo TB-8704F - an almost 4 year old 8 inch tablet.

    • Same. Shame there are very few decent 8 inch tablets. Probably best bet is to wait til the new iPad mini comes out.

      • Yeah, looks like that might be the way to go. Only problem it won't be cheap !

    • the Samsung 8-in tablet with s-pen is pretty good, good phone too if needed with 4G etc: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-A-Plus-8-SM...

      • Thanks for the link, but I've looked into pretty well much every 8 inch tablet and there really isn't anything that suits my wants. That Samsung with only 3 gig of memory probably won't cut it as the tablet I have has 4 gigs, though most probably a lesser chip set.

I ordered a Pro version from Aliexpress. Seems good pricing and has Global Firmware installed.

    • how much was it if you dont mind me asking?

      • Looks to be around $575 on Banggood at the moment. Also the tablet in the post is around $285 on banggood.

      • It was about $650 including the keyboard.

Be careful with this combination because the lasted firmware cause the device crashed every time keyboard is attached. And there is no way back, neither fix from Lenovo yet.
So you might need to turn off OTA update function right after you receive it.

Is this the one you bought from AliExpress:

"Color matching the high level of appearance Take hand fondle admiringly"

"we will open the box to install the Global firmware for you, dear."

      • This one
        Snapdragon 730 Octa Core /6GB Ram 128GB Rom / 11.5inch 2.5K OLED Screen /8500mAh /Android 10 /Global firmware
They do call me dear in the correspondence

        • Was there any "Take hand fondle admiringly" involved?

          • @seb: When I can get them to respond, yes, i guess there is!

    • Could I ask how long it shipped to Australia?

      • It was around 2 weeks or less. I just ordered another one yesterday so we'll see how long it takes this time.

  • How are these ones

The specs on those Teclast things sure look good tho!

    And according to…

That Unisoc T618 seems to be stronger than the Snapdragon 662 (in the Lenovo P11 and Galaxy Tab A7) ….
But in real world usage, its prolly a different story.
And u can almost be sure it wont support widevine L1.

I'd prolly get the A7 tho, its sure to be more polished and gets updates at least.
