Camelx3 reports it's at its lowest price again, matching Myer (same price if you prefer to purchase from there). I bought this one a few months ago and it works surprisingly well. I grabbed another one as a gift.

Thanks. These work well and are quite powerful.

    Strong enough for fabric couches?

    • +5

Yeap, I bought this about a year ago from a similar deal from JB and literally pulled it out to do the couches today for whatever reason and came here to see this post haha.

Does great job with the couches and clothes. Doesn’t pull and ruin the fabric either ( tho not sure if I would trust it for super super gentle and expensive garments) also it does take forever to do a couch to. It takes many, many passes until it gets all the small fabric/lint whatever those thing are that are sticking out

Otherwise really restored the couches and some other clothes of mine to near new levels. It’s amazing. One of those things you never know you need until you use it haha.

        Sold me, cheers mate.

        August 3-13th delivery

    • I bought this for my Koala couch last month. It is amazing!!! It is also SATISFYING to use haha

I cannot recommend this product enough.

      • Crazy how fast the koala couch piles. Really cheap fabric

        • +7

It's crazy how many people actually buy koala believing they are quality. Good marketing tho.

          • @sm0: Is there another foam couch you'd recommend?

    • Yep. Grabbed one a few weeks ago when it was $15 on Amazon. Works really well.
Basically reiterating what Larsson has written.

  • +4

Yea. I use it for exactly that. Some big knobbules require a second deknobbulation but they do go. Rechargeable batteries are advisable.

  • Are these effective for pet hair? Got a fluffball cat which leaves hair strands on everything.

    • +2

No, a rubber/silicone pet hair removing glove and a lint roller are your best bet.

      • +1

Rubber broom head from Kmart works brilliantly too

I've gotten these from either Daiso/some other store like MD Ranking for like $2.80 before - might be worth checking it out there first if you're in the market for one. Works pretty well and has served me well for quite a while.

    • +1

I have one of those cheap ones and this fancy model. The cheap one does the trick, yet this one is bigger and sharper, so it's easier, better and faster to use for things that need a LOT of shaving, like the front and back of a jumper or a big couch.

    • Exactly

  • +5

$10 with C&C from Myer eBay if your local store has it in stock

    • Is the model on Ebay same as this here?

      • They are different models. This one is height adjustable for delicate fabrics

    • +1

      Essential

  • +1

i got one last time off ebay same price… pretty happy with it, but becareful on delicate material, you'd end up cutting the threads ie knitted clothes you'd end up destroying it.

This makes me think of '80s UK TV adverts leading up to Christmas - "The Ronco clothing de-fuzzer. The perfect gift for ageing relatives that wear clothes but you don't care that much about. Only £9.99 and guaranteed to have the batteries leak and corrode it into uselessness before next Christmas!"

  • Bought it from last sales, it really works….somehow surprisingly well….

  • +1

I have one I bought at Aldi and it’s awful. Hope this one works better, grabbed it to try.

    • Haha I bought that one too, didn't work at all

  • That's actually 2.99

    • How??

      • -2

        Wholesale price, and actual value

  • +1

Will it work on facial hair?

    • +1

Dunno but facial shavers do work on fabric. Try it. No need to buy a specific thing like this.

  • I have one of these and use it on couches, kids clothes, all sorts of stuff. As a previous poster mentioned its VERY satisfying to use

  • How does this particular one compare with cheapies from places like Daiso?

  • Any different between GC026/80 and GC026/00?

    • +4

      Yeah, 80

    • +1

I think the last two digits represent the colour.

    • Plus shipping cost.

OTOH, free with Amazon Prime — but dispatch takes 2 - 4 weeks. :(

  • Bought one. This should help renew some of my second hand T shirts. I'll use it on some old trackpants before going over my beloved Tees.

I didn't even know I needed one until I saw 100+ votes on this deal..

  • Thanks OP! Didn't know I needed it either, but I can't resist not following the crowd.

  • It's $26 now…Deal finished

  • Damn price went up

  • Had one last time, as like others said it works perfect.

  • Bah missed out

  • +1
