Based on my understanding, it is linked to your current Flybuys card. It just provides an easier way to collect and spend Flybuys points.

I agree - seems they could achieve the same effect by simply adding an on/off switch to you Flybuys account with "Use Points?"
No idea why it's a separate productIt's too confusing and too complicated for what it is… there's so many better systems out there they could have copy pasted.. also the naming etc.

Coles seems so far behind on this stuff.
1) Limits flypay payment to $50 worth of points.
2) have to have physical card to pay with points in store (despite the app having barcode and all details, you need the card to swipe).Meanwhile at Woolies it automatically asks on the payment screen in store if you'd like to pay with points.
I hate point 2 as I always have phone only for all my card action .

Even with the linked Coles cc while you can use it to pay with points without your card, it's limited to $10, they have the most frustratingly restricted system and it's now all linked to a mobile number and the app logs its self out every 5 minutes requiring sms verification to log back in, omgkmn.

The same thing happens to me with the Flybuys app every two weeks or so, and they make me login up using my card number and password.
I got this last time, targetted. The T&C says:
Points will be credited into the member’s account within 4 weeks of transaction.
I called at the end of the 4 weeks and was told by a rude rep that it's actually 4 weeks after the promotion ends instead of transaction.
Have yet to see the points in my account.Yup, bonus points work about 70% of the time for me, and their support is either an hour on hold to talk to someone who hates their job, or being ignored via email, I've switched to Woolworths for now after a bad run from flybuys lately.

Tried to use it for the first time a week ago. Signed into the account. I was asked to provide my credit details. Looks like it works like PayPal. I don't how you can pay with your points. So I gave up and deleted my flypay account.
