Is it for version 1 or version 2? Looks like v1?
Worth waiting for a v2 sale?
How much better is v2 compared to v1?

More info on GL.iNet GL-X750 (Spitz):

Only minimal difference between the two. Both are Cat 6 and Dual band 750. But by the time there is a V2 sale there maybe a V3 out so that's a never ending dilemma loop (with everything tech). Take a call based on what you need and how much you are willing to spend. There is no 'perfect' answer to your query i.e. regarding should you wait.

newbie question, but why would this be better to get than a normal gl-mango

This takes a sim card for Internet, not the same thing

You could get a 4g USB for a cheap price. It would seem similar then and not too inconvenient.

You can get a YouHua WR1200JS off Aliexpress for $50 or so - works well with any 4G USB modem, they're well supported under ROOter firmware.
