  • Is it for version 1 or version 2? Looks like v1?
Worth waiting for a v2 sale?
How much better is v2 compared to v1?

    • Only minimal difference between the two. Both are Cat 6 and Dual band 750. But by the time there is a V2 sale there maybe a V3 out so that's a never ending dilemma loop (with everything tech). Take a call based on what you need and how much you are willing to spend. There is no 'perfect' answer to your query i.e. regarding should you wait.

  • newbie question, but why would this be better to get than a normal gl-mango

    • This takes a sim card for Internet, not the same thing

      • -1

You could get a 4g USB for a cheap price. It would seem similar then and not too inconvenient.

  • You can get a YouHua WR1200JS off Aliexpress for $50 or so - works well with any 4G USB modem, they're well supported under ROOter firmware.

  • +1

FYI I ordered this and I actually received a v2 device from amazon so thats cool!

    • That's a win. Good one!
