It's in a 0% category. So cashback tracked will be rejected

  • Thanks OP, ordered.

  • Have one of these, pretty sure all the body composition stuff is actually just a direct ratio based on weight.

I have one of these that I got like 2.5 years ago, works really well

  • Thanks OP, ordered

I can vouch for these scales - in conjunction with the app, is an excellent way to monitor body weight over time.
Syncs with bluetooth to the Renpho app, which generates great comparison data. Renpho app also syncs with Apple Health, so weight then can feed into other apps (eg weight-training, MyFitnessPal, etc).

Of course the bodyfat percentage, fat-free mass etc calculations are not going to be very accurate, but that's as with all scales of this kind.

  • Can anyone recommend a set of scales that just tells me how much I weigh without all the fluff? Do these actually do that or would I need an app and science degree to work it out?

    • Step on and it will tell you your weight (100g resolution over 100kg, 50g resolution under 100kg). If you don't want to connect Bluetooth, you don't have to, but you've got that option.
The other benefit is that it's running of AAA, so I just put some rechargeable ones in there, last forever, much better than a 2032 round cell battery.

Even i should be able to work that out. Cheers.

Pretty good price, but I think I should still downvote it.

I've got these scales, they seem pretty good, but they always show me as being 10kg heaver than I think I am!

  • Does it show body composition info without bluetooth / the app?

    • Nope, but the stuff other than weight is just based on the info you give the app such as your age, height and fitness level. Every time you weigh yourself and record the same weight (eg 100kg) it will show the same body fat % and other stuff.

One thing that annoys me is you have to stand on the scales for longer and ensure there is a contact between the metal pads to get the extra info even tho it just uses the initial weight to calculate it, I suppose they just want you to think it's actually trying to use "Bioelectrical impedance analysis" to get the info.

  • anyone had issues with these scales, it doesn't like syncing to pixel 4, but syncs to everything else.

bought one ages ago, and it's been great until i got pixel 4.

  • Good price for this OP model 260b. Just be aware that the dimension of the scales is 10.2 x 10.2 inch. Foot size USA 9 and above might want the bigger scales.

  • This or the Mi Scale 2?

    • Go for whichever you prefer the look of. At the end of the day the only "real" info you'll get off it is your weight (see above).

If you have a MI Band Fitness watch and are in the MI ecosystem get the MI.

If you have a Fitbit or don't care, just get this one, it's cheaper and can sync with the Fitbit app.

    • I own both. Subjectivity, the Renpho scale is better as the app has a better layout and design. Otherwise, they do functionally the same thing.

  • Got this and works great! Thanks for the post :)
