How to Claim

  • First you'll need to download the ShopBack App, if you haven't already.
  • Next you'll need to create an account/sign-up if you're a new customer.

      Technically both, a New Customer is anyone who has signed up but has not transacted before.
      So if they sign up today they'll qualify as a New Customer and can see the bonus once they join the OzBargain Perks Partnership :)

    I made a $30+ purchase early in the morning. After I clicked start, it shows completed, reward pending immediately. It makes me confused.

          Yep - I have missed a $20 cashback from Liquorland a couple of weeks ago due to their tracking issues.
          Got the usual email when I enquired with the reasons it may have failed. None of them are relevant.
          The small ones get through though. Funny isn't it?
          Why I don't bother much anymore.

      If you pay with an Amazon Gift Card, there will be no issue.
      If you pay with Amazon Credits or a different branded Gift Card, then it will fail.

      Here's why:
      Amazon allows Cashback on purchases made with their own Gift Cards (even the one's we sell & give cashback on in our Super Store)
      But if you use Credits or another Gift Card, then they will deny cashback and your order will not track, resulting in no bonus being given.

          The Credit will void your cashback, which results in no $ value being tracked on our system.
          So you will not get the bonus if you use the Credit.

          I would advise saving the credit for another time, to not miss out on this bonus :)

          If you follow these steps, you'll be sweet. Essentially you'll need to activate in our app before purchasing (but I've set it up so that even after purchasing it'll count the order)

        @gotyourback Any chance of adding the ‘Spent’ or each order ‘value’ in the app transactions (Similar to CR). So if we have multiple items in one order we can know which item earned the cash back and which didn’t. Especially for Amazon products, as their eligible categories can be confusing at times.

            @gotyourback: If you are not sure then you should pass it on. And have a look at Cashrewards they make it really simple to see what bonus applies to what purchase. With you, it's next to impossible. I say this as someone who is generally happy with your tracking performance.

          Yeah I've had a few that stayed pending for ages, it's usually the person signed up and made the initial purchase but then forgot about it so you gotta wait until they get around to withdrawing usually. I'm not sure if there's a time limit but I had one that took over 6 months.

      If you use an Amazon or eBay Gift Card to pay at those stores, then those orders will track fine.
      If you use a Gift Card to pay at any other store, it's highly likely your order won't earn cashback (as most of our merchants don't pay cashback on payments made by Gift Card).
      So it's dependant on which store you shop at.

      Shopback has a massive list of stores that you can buy from.

      Some examples include free click and collect from bigw regardless of amount or from target with minimum $20 spend (you want $30 spend from this anyway).

      Obviously check the exclusion list for those stores before you buy.

      Bonus will be credited shortly after your cashback goes from "Pending" to "Approved.
      That'll just depend on which store you shopped at & how long their "Pending" period lasts :)
