    Is this a joke?

80gb for $154 and you have to go through so much to redeem?

  • +6

Wait, did I read it right? How does a $150 sell at $154 count as a deal?

    • +2

In my case it would be a good option since there is no way to get that exact plan anymore, which included unlimited minutes to X country, while the newer plans only give you 1200 minutes for that same country. But yeah, if you are thinking about just the 80gb, it's pretty crap

    • what do you say about this, https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/353512726210

  • “Second Friday”
Does that mean two weeks to get the full deal? Sounds like a scam

  • Hi OP, any idea what the renewal options are/wii be? May be useful if it allows for renewal at $150 (don’t think it’s available on other current starter sim plans?!}

    • I dont believe u would be able to renew on the same plan upon expiry. Ud have to move onto one of their new plans, but at least u get these inclusions for the first year

You better purchase those $200 pack at around $150-160 and ask the staff via chat to recharge.

Above RRP is not a deal

Boost now only has $200 or $300 options for 12 month plans available on it’s website. I am not keen to get the $200 one for 100GB as I don’t need that much data

Shame on you, look at the other deal, $159 for the $200 pack.

    • Possible officeworks price beat

  • As an existing Boost customer on the "Anytime Plus", my recharge coming up in Sept is the same i.e. $150/80Gb.
This offer might be ok for somebody wanting to move to Boost as they only have the $200/100GB 365day plan now. That's about it.

  • If you are currently with Boost, you need to opt out to other providers then opt in to use these sim cards.
    Thanks

    • Will I be able to renew on the same plan upon expiry?

  • It can recharge as $200 plan upon expired.
    Thanks

  • I just received an email from Boost to advise the $150 recharge will no longer be available. And the plan is being upgraded to $200, 100GB, 12 months expiry but with a catch!

Most things same as the $150 recharge plan but

    1) Unlimited International Calls & Text to standard numbers reduced from 25 to 20 selected destinations,
    2) 1200 text (inc. MMS) to all destinations instead of the original 55 selected destinations.

So basically you pay $50 more to get an additional 20GB with reduced International destinations.

    For your info.

    • If you were on the $150/80Gb last year, they will shunt you to the $200 plan on next recharge this year BUT will discount by $50 at check-out. A courtesy thing I expect for all us still on grandfathered plan. So $200 for $150.
Next year though is another thing altogether!
