And probably quite scratchy until it's lubed.

        Yeah, she did mention that.

    • Not sure why you were downvoted, I would get that one too

      • Gamesir is a good brand, not everyone knows it. I think that is why.

People who clicked on this post probably looking for red switches and you suggest them to get blue switches.

        • or got mixed up with "backlit blue led"

Have had this keyboard for awhile, just be aware for some reason the keycaps come off easily from the switch stem. A little flick and it’ll jump right off.

    • I had one for work when we were hot desking, every day I would take it out of a bag and put it back at the end of the day and I had no such issues. So YMMV.

I have 2 of these! Only reason being that you can hook them into this 'lapboard':
https://www.amazon.com.au/CORSAIR-Wireless-Gaming-Lapboard-K… (not at all claiming this link is a deal; just showing the product).

Average keyboard (not bad, not amazing) but it's the single best #lapboard life option in my opinion.

    • That's actually why I bought the K63. In that in future if I wanted a couch setup that lapboard would be the best option.

  • Was pretty excited to get this and the lapboard. however, reading quite a few reviews of it constantly disconnecting, and the battery dying after a year or so. Can anyone comment?

    • Yep. Mum bought herself one just before lockdown #5. Battery died within a few days and it refused to turn on. She got a replacement between #5 and #6 and it too has now stopped responding randomly and not turning on at times. Stay the hell away!

    • I have been using it with lapboard for 2-3 years and it has been great. I have bluetooth, mouse and keyboard dongles plugged into extension cables and spaced 10cm from each other

    • Used two (keyboard + lapboard combos) for about 3 years now; had 1 for a year and liked it enough to buy a second.

Zero issues since I started using the little… USB plug thingies ("dongles!" - thanks pakadum) to connect wirelessly instead of Bluetooth. Pure Bluetooth was mostly fine but iffy if the PC I was connecting to was behind the TV..

The one I use for an hour or two each night gets charged once every fortnight and I can use it while doing so too, even if though I just charge it via a USB powerpoint. I don't use the keyboard backlighting much at all though.

    • I am using mine with my lapboard as I type this. Has been going strong for 1.5 - 2yrs now and no issues. Battery lasts an acceptable amount of time before recharge.

This hasn't dropped in price at all, I paid this much like 2 years ago.
