      • still 594 for me.
Note that its 15%for Ebay Plus, 10% for the rest.

        • I got the 10% a few minutes after applying to eBay Plus. I think you need to wait for sometime before eBay recognizes you as an eBay Plus member. Or else you will get 10% even if you are already a member.

    • can change seller, mobilecity, still 15%off for same code. $594.99 after use code.

This phone has a bug in Android 11. After upgrading, you will lose Android Auto.

    • +2

Check previous comments, this issue can be avoided by reset to retail version.

  • Got mine this morning, feels premium quality! now for the transferring of data…

  • price jacked to $699

    • Same price, just no discount anymore.

  • My delivery is delayed for some unknown reason…Auspost fail somewhere.

  • Never asked. Is this local warranty? How long?

    • +1

Being a Telstra variant it's not a grey import or anything so it will be Aus warranty, and that warranty is stated as 2 years.

      • Of course. Sorry, it wasn't the smartest question for sure. Thanks for the confirm.

  • Anyone else get their phones? Changed to Australia_Ex no problem. Mine has bubbles under what I think is a factory installed screen protector. Doesn't look great considering peeling it off. Any advice?

Also picked up the official carbon fiber case off eBay. Not too shabby:)

    • Mine is delayed somewhere.

Link to case? Was it this:

      https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/go?https%3A%2F%2Fshop.oppoau…

      • Yes, that's the one. Got is $2 cheaper from Mobilecity ebay. It's nice, but the edges have cut outs for volume and power. So, not sure on the hand feel yet, I will have to use it longer.

After the region change, Netflix and iHeart radio show as incompatible in the App store (they were there before the region change / firmware upgrade). I read of this happening to someone else and then they worked the next day. So, hopefully good tomorrow. I will report back if I can't fix them, you may want to stay on Telstra firmware.

Prime Video HD worked and the display and audio are great. I so wish it had a headphone jack…

        • Look forward to knowing about netflix in particular. No netflix and there is no way I will upgrade.

        • I also bought waiting for delivery.
          Whats issues with netflix?

          • @Modesty: As above. Incompatible.

            • @boxall: I am waiting on delivery, and want to change region , but worried as some saying issues with netflix

        • +1

I also switched to Australia_Ex, no issues with Netflix on Widevine L1

          • @Ood: Sorry what is widevine L1?

            • +1

@boxall: It's what lets you watch stream Netflix, Amazon, etc at HD and above (so L3 devices won't do it, even if you have the plan for it). I saw some reports of issues, so thought I'd mention it as well

              • @Ood: So what you are saving, the device supports L1 encryption and works with Netflix after the switch. Got it.

        • How'd it go today?

        • I think the phone is probably OK. The DRM info app shows Widevine L1 and Prime Video HD works fine. I'm not getting Netflix as my App Store account is in Argentina.

Luckily the phone allows multiple accounts, so I set up an Australian account, Netflix now shows in the App Store, but when I try to install it it says "Pending" for 30 mins plus.

I will report back if I get it going, but I think the region swap will be fine for most people. Only those paying for Youtube Premium in OS currency will have issues with Netflix.

          • @mostlygordon: Why does YouTube currency impact netflix? Confused.

            • @boxall: It's not so much the currency as the account. My phone region is Australia and Google Account is Argentina and some apps probably don't like that. In any case both Netflix and iHeart Radio are working on my Oz account. Just a bit of a pain now switching accounts depending on if I want Youtube without ads or Netflix…

              • @mostlygordon: Have you considered using YouTube Vanced or something similar? (if you just want adblocking)

              • @mostlygordon: My youtube is paid in non aus currency but has nothing to do with my google play account.

        • Bit the bullet and factory reset the phone. This was a good call as it got rid of a lot of bloatware. I used my Oz Google account as primary and used my Argentina account as a secondary email. This allows Netflix and iHeart Radio to work fine. YouTube and YouTube Music allow you to login with the secondary account. No longer any need to switch users :-) Hopefully this helps someone…

My main credit card doesn't support Google Pay. Only samsung and Apple. Damn.

May be returning this if and when it arrives.

    • If it makes you feel better, it's not as premium as I had hoped in terms of hand feel. Not in the league of iPhone Pro Max and Samsung Ultras. I would be annoyed if I had spent RRP on it.

      • +1

@mostlygordon Love the phone. Super premium and a huge step up from my Note 10.

        • Good to hear. I was using mine outdoors on the weekend and find it the best screen I've ever seen in bright sunlight. Certainly has a flagship spec and screen. I was more talking about the build compared to my iPhone 11 Pro Max, and a Note 20 Ultra I have tried, both built like tanks, I would hate to drop the Find X2 Pro… But more than pleased at the price we got it for:-)

    • Same here..Anyone know a way around this? Annoying if I can't get Google pay to work…

      • What bank do you use that doesn't support Google Pay?

        • ANZ, never had an issue before but wouldn't work on this phone as it says phone has been rooted etc which it hasn't.

Looked up for a fix, restarting seems to have sorted the issue although it says 'not set up' above the card now. Maybe it'll work, I'll keep you updated. Although phone is now updating to Color OS 11( Android 11) as we speak so maybe that will fully fix the issue.

          • +1

@gooddealmate: Strange. I've done Telstra -> Global fix, then just tried Google Pay now (AMEX), and no issues here. Maybe something to do with the Android security patch version issues if you haven't fully updated yet.

        • Coles Mastercard. So Citibank.

          • @boxall: Bizzare. Time to get a new credit card maybe.

            • @aveeno bb: Bit hard with all the things with extended warranty. They are clever. And it is my flybuys rewards card.

      • Bank support for Google pay. Not that Google Pay doesn't work.

  • +2

Got mine delivered today! Feels so smooth and snappy!

Definitely at levels with S20 Ultra, etc in terms of the build quality.

  • +1

Bought this phone on Tuesday night but didn't receive any invoice or shipping notification since.
    Anyone in the same boat?

    • +1

Got mine yesterday and I'm Qld.. didn't order it until 4.30pm on the day either

      • Thanks for replying! Did you get an official invoice from Wireless_1?

      • +1

I am Brisbane and I ordered much earlier. It has been delayed somewhere in the Auspost system. Haven't looked for an invoice as yet.

    • +2

I also bought on Tuesday but haven't received an invoice or notification. I did get the 'order confirmation' from Ebay. Hope it arrives on Monday!

    • Same here, still zero updates since Tuesday afternoon.

      • Yeah, I might try to contact Wireless tomorrow and see what's up.

    • +2

I contacted Wireless. Some of their employees are unable to go to work due to the lockdown in NSW. They will catch up on the orders and send the phones out when they can.

  • +2

Received mine yesterday and so far have noticed how fast and snappy it is compared to my S10 5G. Screen is great as well and happy with my purchase.

    • I'll be moving from a Note 10 so should be a similar experience.

      • +1

        It's faster than a Note 20 Ultra.

    • Same here.
Moved from s10 5g, good phone, getting used to oppo's ui, but i think samsung ui is better

No update since Thursday Noon. Was meant to be delivered on Wednesday.

For those that have it, can you quick launch the camera with a double tap of the power button?

    • +1

Unfortunately not, but drawing an O with the screen off will launch the camera (or you can customise the shape I believe)

      • Amazing. I heard there was an option for double tap volume or something.

    • +1

@boxall yes it is in the camera settings and it's actually pretty quick. It's double tap volume when screen is off.

      • +1

        Phew………was almost a show stopper…

      • Unless you're always listening to music :(

  • Can the apps move horizontal instead of vertical, in app drawer?

    • Nope sorry. You could use Nova.

  • Out for delivery today. Fingers crossed.

    • +1

      Still no updates for me…

    • It has arrived! Setting up now. One question. Do you have to use the included VOOC cable to charge?
