  • I'm getting code no longer works?

  • The listings at both futu and PCCG are for the WD Red Plus not Pro.

    • Wrong wording sorry, swapped both thanks!

    HDD prices have gone up a lot.

    I wish we could have the $280 WD 12TB deal from Amazon US again.

    • Really regret not buying drives at the start of this year ;_;

  • I kicked myself for buying too many local stock 8TB WD Elements last year and now I'm thanking myself for it after seeing prices this year lol

  • Anyone has this drive can comment on the noise ?
    For desktop use

      I have two sitting in a Synology NAS. I started with it on my desktop, but it's noisy so moved it to the basement within a couple of days.

      • Thanks, thats a no go for me then lol. Would have considered it if its the same as Barracuda 2TB

  • Which one do you guys recommend for running Plex NAS Server, Ironwolf or WD Red Plus.

    • WD Red

      • +1

        Why do you recommend the WD red over Ironwolf?

        • The reds do list a slightly lower idle power which could be beneficial over a long period. They do seem to be incredibly close in most specifications however

  • Bought 2 x 8TB Ironwolfs back when they were ~$220. Have been waiting for a price drop again to fill a NAS.

  • Trying to grab a 12Tb Seagate Ironwolf and code wont work.
