This is a very good deal, decent display, 16/512, for the price. great find.

Where is any stock in Victoria?

    • they told me possibly 1 at hoppers crossing.

  • OOS in QLD?

  • +1

Saw this but no stock near me and can't get delivery.

  • Damn this is good, but no stock in Brisbane at least.

  • Nothing in SYD 500km or close to it.

  • No stock in Melbourne too.

  • +4

Well specced for the price but that 1650 is really old and a RTX3050 from Dell is about $1050.

A good value overall laptop but a weaker gaming laptop.

$850 is a great price for a complete computer.

    • Hey can you share the link?

    • What is the best value for money gaming laptop available now in your opinion?

      • +3

There are ZERO good gaming laptop deals right now.
A week ago, the Nitro 5 with 11th gen i5/3060 for $1279 was a Bargain.
        Now you'll have to pay $1500 for a 10th gen i5/3060.

    Unobtainable deals discontinued model

  • Very good deal!

Please update the post to state "512GB storage" however, it makes it harder for people to differentiate between RAM and storage.

    Done, thanks for noting

    • +8

read that as 'nothing' and went ooooh nasty

    1650 lol no

    • +2

      Dont know why the negs
      Its a fair point
Severely hamstrung for a gaming pc

      • -6

prob by people who cant get a real gaming laptops?

1650 is hardly any better than integrated graphics. absolutely rubbish

      • +8

It’s $844 what’re you expecting? A 1650 is fine for anything non-AAA (Rocket League, Fortnite, DOTA, Overwatch, R6, etc)

  • Nothing in Adelaide either.

  • 1650 or 1650ti? Thanks

    • +1

      1650

      • Hmmm thanks. Too slow, I could deal with the 1650ti.

        • They're both pretty average though compared to the 30xx series

  • Put the store name in the title please.

  • It looks like a pretty sweet deal. Thanks OP.

  • +1

    yep no stock

  • Great price but no stock for pickup and no delivery available

  • Did anyone manage to buy one ?

    • +1

      Yes

    • sure did 😁

  • Would be a good deal if these is any stock.

  • Weight (kg): 23.00. as per GG. hmmmm

  • GG did a pull out of their stock

  • Damn, I got the same laptop from JB Hi-Fi on Black Friday 2020 for $1280 and I thought it was a great deal, Now is almost $500 off :(

But yeah, technology, especially computers/laptops tend to decrease in price quickly.

    • +3

Since it was listed there was no stock anywhere, wouldn't be annoyed about this.

    • I wouldn’t worry about if I were you. Basically like 2 people if not any got this deal lol

  • +6

Not a deal if no stock, seems no one has bag one. Sorry.

  • One possibility available at hoppers crossing?

  • Wohoo, got the last one in regional VIC for $850 shipped. Call your local store to do a stock check and then find the nearest regional store with stock and they can ship it for an additional $10. You can use GoodGuys Gift card (via Suncorp) to pay online. Not sure if the $60 store credit is still applicable or not.

    • I grabbed the last one from DFO Essendon this afternoon.
they said there was possibly one at hoppers crossing.
haven't opened it yet, but very happy atm.
been looking for a budget laptop for a while now for the Mrs. to play cs:go and age of empires.

I know there was the dell deal for $899 but didn't think the panel was that good.

      THANKS OP!!! YOU'RE A CHAMPION!

      • Did you do do an online order or over the phone order as no stores were showing stock online? Anything confirmed on the $60 store credit as its supposedly only for online order (C&C or delivery)

        • called up the store and they sent me a link, paid online and was ready for collection in a matter for 15 mins.
It showed no where in victoria online, but called up and they checked local stores for stock.

The t&c's mention more about the $60 its automatically sent to ur email address used for purchase later this month.,

If you can't find one this a good deal but not an outrageous deal to kick yourself over. (like the Acer nitro 2060 for $999)

          • @Sapper50: This is better than the Acer as the build quality, screen and throttling on the Acer is horrible. The new Dell G15 is probably the only good competitor to the Legion

            • @regenade: Thanks for the reply.
makes me confident with my choice.
I didn't realise the nitros were so bad with thermos.
I have limited experience with laptops to this and an MSI GF65 I snagged on the afterpay deal.
I was gonna grab the dell but was turned off by reports of crappy screen and cheap build quality.

      • It's my pleasure

    • from the t&c's,
store credit of $60 will be received by email on 1/9/21 and expires in 7 days.

what to spend the $60 on?

      • filters for vacuum, airpurifier, carpet/tile cleaners etc
        bags for vacuum cleaner

  • +1

any other good gaming laptops under $1000? can't find anything and missed out on this :(
