Been looking for a cheap drill to replace my 15yr old Bosch green drill. Found this combo deal on eBay for the VEVOR brand which comes with the drill and impact driver, two 2ah 20v batteries, charger and some drill bits! Seems dirt cheap considering batteries and charger alone retail for more than this from other brands.

Anyone have experience with VEVOR products before? Most likely will buy as I'm also considering their $62 SDS rotary hammer drill as well. Am I better off spending more or is this cheap enough to take a gamble?

  Id be more inclined to get the cheapies from bunnings, SCA or aldi over this. I doubt you will have great warranty coverage if anything goes wrong with them.

    But it's more than double the price? You could argue why not spend a bit more and get a Makita, etc.

  OP if you haven't bought anything search on the Autobarn power G stuff, if there's any left it's in your price range, is made by positec who make aldi and ozito, and works for the most part with aldi battery and charger.

  Aside from that if you are just after a hammer drill bunnings have the xu1 for 50 bucks atm

      Yeah it's mainly good if you already have the xfinity batteries from aldi as they are dirt cheap on sale, or if you can find some on sale now, you could get out of it for as cheap as 20 bucks for the charger and 2ah battery. That means potentially as cheap as 60 bucks for this kit but in an ecosystem that will be supported into the future.
