Martec Titan II White Recessed Tri Colour Dimmable 10W LED Downlight $12.95 (Was $16.95) + Shipping @ Bitola Lighting

20

Well regarded downlight for a reasonable price. Also listed as Tradetec Titan on some websites, but it's the same model number. Many downlights in this price range have integrated drivers and crappy plastic construction, which can result in a shortened lifespan. This downlight has some heat dissipating fins and an external driver.

Cheaper at discount lighting. They’ll turn you on, for less!

That's true, but discount lighting does not supply or ship goods to the following countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Libya, Balkans, Cote d'Ivoire, Congo, Iraq, Liberia, Sudan, Syria and Zimbabwe

So if you live in any of those countries, you probably need to fork out the extra $0.95 per downlight

  • I have this brand but different model (only 5000k, not tri-color)for my new home. During winter it will take 3 to 5 seconds to turn on. Emailed to Martec and replaced all 30 downlights to tri-colour. Second batch, after 2 to 3 years start playing up. Initially I set 5000k then not working. Switch to 3000k or 4000k still working. Can't be bothered to email Martec for individual malfunctioning. Now just replacing with other brand from Just Light if Martec is completely not working (3000, 4000 and 5000k).

    • To change temps you need to pull the light out and toggle a little switch yeah? It can’t be done but wall mounted switch?

      • Yes pull out and toggle.

          Story of my life!….

  • Buy proper downlights, the 70mm ones and go 60 degrees for the flood look, not these glare monsters.

Totally agree. Bought something similar and now forking out a lot more replace 'glare monsters' with deep recessed downlights.
      Two reasons:
Glare is terrible and hurts my eyes compared to the deep expensive downlights I have elsewhere in the house
CRI - dont underestimate how much difference they make. Get lights with 90+ CRI.
