    where does it show the value of virgin money points?? if 5000 = $25, 8 points per transaction amounts to 4cents.
    If you assume your avg transaction is $40, this amounts to a 1.2%pa value.

    You're better off using a 30-45day credit card for spending and keep your money on your offset account (if you have one) which is approx 3%.

    My evil side is awakened. What if one was to do a whole series of 1c debits to one's account? Not something I would bother with myself but each deposit would get 8 Virgin Money points.

    Mind you any mass depositing like that would immediately flag the account for suspicious activity so you are advised not to try. This is the sort of thing the famous pudding guy would try.
