        Pretty awesome I'd say. Used it for a while, still pretty solid. Though I'm no audiophile, the sound seems pretty decent and reasonable.

      I'm. Bought for similar price. The battery life is really long. I used it for occasional video conferences through Bluetooth so far still on first charge after a few months. Two cons: 1. The sound quality, I know it is crazy to compare this to Sennheiser or BOSE, it delivers, and you get what you paid for. 2. The Bluetooth, once paired to one device, you will need to go to the device to disconnect before you can pair it to another device. Should not multiple pairing be some thing very common these days? Or at lease let me disconnect from the headset?

    Probably a given these days but can these do what I presume would be called a proper headset function?

    I have a set of cheap Jbl 450BT that can do hiqh quality audio (shows as "audio" on my S8+) or old style phone headset mode (shows as "calls" on my S8+) . So you can't have full quality sound and microphone simultaneously which is not good for Zoom etc.

      The mic on Bluetooth headphones is usually not good, even on premium headphones like Sony WH1000XM3.

        Looks like the difference I need is
        A2DP = just audio for music etc
        HFP = handsfree profile, one of the original bluetooth profiles and is low quality audio and microphone
        HSP = headset profile which would include micrphone and and better quality audio but won't be up to the standard of A2DP I think.

        I seems my JBL units only do A2DP and HFP and can't do both at the same time and that's the problem.

    Long time lurker
    First time commenter, made an account just to review the edifier headphones.

    Just returned the Edifier W830BT to Amazon, the right side of the headset made a terrible clicking noise when turning/shaking and it made the listening experience unbearable (Seems to be the mechanical moving parts that are responsible for the swivel).

    I'm not sure if my model was faulty or if all the other designs are like that.

    Expect normal audio, nothing that will blow your mind but the battery life might just do that! been using it daily for a while now and can't complaint. Passive noise cancelling works really well too.

    Also worth noting the audio call mic quality is very good too I used these for work calls for a few weeks and was great.

    I bought these for my 8 year old son for a joke and we can’t believe how good they are.

    The audio won’t blow your mind but you won’t find anything better for the price.
