    Nothing here of course.

Can't even remember the last time I was targeted for a worthwhile Woolies rewards offer. Definitely pre-pandemic.

    • +1

I just waded through so many email offers! Surprised this rarer offer hasn't been posted.

Multiple Rewards accounts is the usual solution. Then you can choose the best offer!

On way to Woolies to use 3000pts for $50 spend.
Will add a piece of fruit to different Rewards card to qualify for this offer.

      • Are you using fake names, or just multiple members of the household?

        • +3

multiple members of the household, even if they're pets… (they eat Woolies food too)
Accounts have been active for many years, but rarely used.

          • @INFIDEL: With the different rewards accounts, do they all accumulate into the same points balance?

            • +1

@squarepants: No - not with separate accounts.

But you can combine accounts. Don't know if that would decrease the different offers sent out.

            • +1

@squarepants: To get different offers they have to be totally separate accounts and the points will go into these separate accounts. As long as you have made a transaction in the last 18 months the points will not expire and you can keep them long enough to accumulate a useful amount.

              • +1

                @Yola: Thanks SupermarketExpert Yola👍

                • @INFIDEL: Ah gotcha, works fine for rewards dollars but not so useful if trying to accumulate into QFF then? Seeing as names on accounts need to match.

                  Thanks guys!

    • Even with multiple accounts, this offer was only on 1.

    • So if I spend 1c per week over 8 weeks and get $50 to spend, what % off am I getting? Is it just calculating $50 to extra spend after initially spending 8 cents, or do I calculate the % off after the “total value” of $50.08?

  • Also got this offer. So esse really no minimum spend?

    • +1

Yes. An eligible purchase is any purchase of at least $0.01

      • +1

Great, had a craving for one peanut so that should make the min spend.

  • +2

I got 2000 points each week for 8 weeks for at least 1cent.
The cash checkouts only take 5c upwards, so I am not getting the full deal.
Will have to swipe my card to do 1 cent transaction.
    First world problem.

    • But Woolies don't sell anything for 1c as far as I know?

      • 1c as far as I know

That is just an in-joke from the wise guys here.
If you can find something that costs 1c, it will satisfy this offer.

Otherwise, just buy anything you like each week.

        • Yeah I get that it will satisfy if you can find something. I was thinking he meant just put 1c on his CC and scan his rewards card, but you still need to make a full payment on each rewards card. You can't pay 1c on 1 rewards card and pay the rest on another rewards card.

    • What is the total amount of your offer?
      Mine was 10,000pts

I edited the description from 2000pts to 1000pts per week, as the 8 wk total was only 10k pts.

      • +2

There are 2 offers, the one you posted is 1000pts per week for 8wks and if you shop all 8wks then you get an extra 2000pts so total of 10k pts. The other offer is 2000pts per wk for 8wks total is 16k pts. Some even have the extra 3wks offer $30/$40/$50 spend for 1k/2k/3k pts as well so you can even get more pts for the same shop.

        • +3

Nah - just the 16000 total for 8 weeks. Nothing extra.
Will buy 1 chillie a week.

        • +1

          Even better offer!! Thanks.

My offer also stated 2k pts each of 8 weeks plus a 2k pts bonus, but up to total of 10k pts - guess it was from that other offer.

Have a few more of the $30/$40/$50 spend for 1k/2k/3k pts. Have received those in last 3 weeks. Just used one expiring today for 3k pts.

        • +2

          I have 3 x 10000 and 1 x 16000, all 4 have a $30/$40/$50 on them

          • +1

@Miss B: lol i have none of these offers. Sad sad

I think I have get 10,000 point if I spend $115 every week for like 4-8 weeks lol

            crazy

            • +2

@AussieMark: I make them work for it. I only use my cards when I have offers. I have about 20-30 accounts.

I just add the card to Stocard when they email me something good, I don't have any of the physical cards. Never had an offer this good before. My offers don't normally require more than $50 spends, I don't do shops bigger than I need to for the offers.

              • +1

@Miss B: yeah, the only offer that is this good is "Top up bonus" offer that you get 2000pts for $0.01 spend and that was only once and I only get that once a year before. This offer is not only once but even for 8wks.

              • @Miss B:

                I have about 20-30 accounts.

                Seriously? I only have 4. That's insane :S

              • @Miss B: We have a winner!

    • +1

Yeah I got this too. 2000 points each week for 8 weeks for 0.01c spend :D

    • Thanks - added the 16,000pt offer to Deal Title & Description. (Now I am jealous😉)

  • +2

Good one woollies, get us all into the stores once a week during the lockdown so we can spend a few cents on our essentials

    • Not all areas of Australia are in lockdown. Certainly not where i am.

      • True, you’re right

      • Food is an essential, so unless you are in quarantine, most can visit stores or order online ($30 min) to qualify for this offer.

Possibly the Targeting of offer may exclude those in lockdown areas?

Just back from local Woolies. So much choice, discounts & points offers!
Almost first supermarket in a month - was on an island up North. Going to a Woolies from there was an expensive day trip.

      • +1

        Where the hell are you?

        • The majority of Australia by area is not in lockdown.
Just came off beaches on island in FNQld. How I suffered🌞

          • +1

            @INFIDEL: Boaster!
Sydney for me, but outside the most clusterf'd parts.
Plenty of people hanging around coffee shops here, next to the beaches.
Fulfilling Gladys's and the Treasurer Parrot's dream of small business prospering, one coffee at a time.
At least I'm still getting my Woolworths dollars.

            • @wetwork: Yes, sorry that others have restrictions & worries. I wouldn't like it. Look after yourself.

But, I did miss out on some good Deals - while I swam in the warm ocean & lazed about on beaches… (Quality of life is always important & needn't cost much.)
Luckily, returned in time for good offers like this.

  • +2

Thanks for this - I am targeted but had not noticed - excellent!

    • +2

A very rare Deal from me. Rarely see offers in time to post.
Very happy you & others can benefit.

Usually can't see the benefit of Deals like this. But, some of us miss great offers because we don't check emails etc. Only checked before I went to buy groceries.

      • Email subjects plz?

        • +1

"Collect up to 10,000 points, Infidel 🚀"

  • Did not receive :(

ACT here, frequent shopped so maybe why haha.

  • Mine is 16,000 points.

  • No offers on any of my 5 cards

But had offers every other week so been shopping too much

  • +2

One thing I noticed: this offer is out of sync with their regular Wednesday to Tuesday specials cycles.
I am used these sort of things finishing on 11.59 pm on the Tuesday of the week.

    • +1

Yes. We've got an extra day to scan!
Pointed this out in Deal Description. Now in Bold!

  • +1

Boost now & shop by WEDNESDAY
(Not the usual Wed-Tues cycle @Woolies)

  • +1

So being a good Ozbargainer, I ask myself "what's the actual cheapest item I can buy" at Woollies?
I bought Chuppa Chups (50c) last night but can we do better? I think someone said chillis.
    What's the cheapest?

    • +4

      Woolies Bag for 15c

      • Excellent idea

        • Have so many bags from free offers…
          Bought 3 @BigW for 3 x 2000pt Deal.

Will go healthy with a small fruit or veggie. Usually 50-80c.
Afterall we're getting 1000+ or 2000pts for our small effort.

          • @INFIDEL: Ah yes the Ozbargainer in me always pushed for the cheapest way!

            • +1

@King Tightarse: Can search www.Woolworths.com.au by category & sort by cheapest price. (Bags won't be listed)

              Mandarins are around 35c ea
              Carrot 31c
              Smaller is cheaper.

Avo for $1 - for that smashed avo!
Or maybe a small mushroom for under 10c as suggested by mysterytal.

I now make decisions based on what will be most useful / healthy for me. Hang the few cents extra.
So Chuppa Chups & plastic bags are not on my list.

    • +3

      One mushroom.

      • how much is one mushroom?

        • +3

You should find a small one for 7 cents. Pay cash and it's 5 cents.

          • +2

@mysterytal: hahaha pay cash and round down - excellent

          • +1

@mysterytal: Small Button mushrooms are around 10g
            @around$10/kg, that's 10c.
            Bought some this week @Woolies.

So doable at your price - just don't put in a bag.

    • +1

      🐵Bought a 50c banana🍌

      • +2

I did the same today. From week 2, I can just redeem $10 (and pay a few cents if necessary) to generate aonther $10 for week 3 and so on.

        • Thats the way to do it.
I rarely pay - just use the bonus points earnt. Have about $150 in points.

  • +1

Did anybody else's 16k (8x2000) point offer disappear from the app?

I activated a 3500 for 2x $50 spend yesterday and the original 16k point offer is now gone? My last spend on Wednesday last week was credited with 2000 points.

    • +1

Yes, mine has gone too, and I didn't get the points from my shop on Friday, I know it says it can take up to 7 days but from memory all the others appeared pretty fast, if not instantly.

I found the original email and when I clicked on it, it said it was already boosted, so it looks like we're going to have to get on to them.

      • Just spoke on chat

I am very sorry as the promotion has disappeared from the app.
kindly continue to take part, the points will be uploaded automatically.

      • +1

I got a 3100 pts offer this week on top on this offer, and the two transactions I made which made me qualify for each offer resulted in a total of 5100 pts.
Looks like it still works even though it is missing from the app.

  • +1

This has been a beautiful deal. Free groceries every week for eight weeks. Just completed my last shop on the 10, points deal and ot the points every every.
I guess they will add the last 2000 some time soon

    • Doing my last shop of Deal today.
$35 of credit so far. $15 to come.
      Easy money!

Paid with Suncorp wallet (10 purchases = $20/mth - can split 1 purchase into 10)

      Catching free bus!

Few other freebies on the list for today:
      Furphy beer
      Coffee Club alternative milk coffee
      Red Rooster fried chicken piece
      2 $10 DJs birthday vouchers

  • Did anyone went every week and got the 1000 points each week, but didn't get the additional 2000 points??

    • No 2000pt. But there's still time:
if you are eligible for the additional 2000 points, they will be loaded within 7 days after the promotion period.
      Last day of promotion 13/10.

Contact Rewards if not added after a week of end of promotion - Wed 20/10.

      • Oh thanks, didn't realise it's not 7 days after promo yet

  • Looks like that lays 2000pts/$10 didn't come through by the deadline for me.
    Did other people get it?

    • None here.
      Should have appeared by today
      Contact Rewards.

      • Yes will follow up with them

        • +1

Tell them to read my Deal ;-)
Or at least their emailed offer.
Keep us informed, I'm going back to bed💤

  • +1

Still no 2000 bonus points in 10000 pt offer??

    So here's what you do:
    Ring Woolies (1300 10 1234) - Rewards (1)
Provide Rewards card number & prove it is you.

Tell them 2000pt are missing from their Offer Code RTN-4879 (at bottom of email) - so they can check conditions of the "Long term retention" offer.

Explain: Rewards shows there are 1000pt bonus added each of 8 weeks between 19/8 & 13/10 (offer week ran from Thurs-Wed).
That shows the 8 weekly spends already qualified for the offer.
So qualifies for the (missing) 2000pt bonus!

All checked by lovely Michaela - 2000pt added. Takes a few days to be applied.

    • +1

      2000pt now in account.
Yet to be converted to $10 credit.

      • +1

        $10 credit added

    • Still no 2000 points and I can't be bother contacting them. You think they would've fix it by now. Surely a lot of people have the same issue.

      • +1

just chat with them and they will credit you, just 5' to chat

      • $10cr lost for not asking for what you are owed - that's not "the Ozbargain way" ;-)

Their system wasn't programmed correctly. 2 similar offers but 16k points offer had no bonus pts. So forgot to set up bonus for this offer.

They're using the Scomo system of responsibility - just "move on".

        It's "the Australian way"!
(ie 'She'll be right, mate' & 'no worries')

Get used to those phrases in the coming months!
