    I've ordered three times from Coles online and each time it has been the most infuriating experience. They have replaced out of stock items with the most stupid alternatives. I.e. maple syrup with golden syrup (even though all stores have about 5 different brands of maple syrup). You could argue that I should switch off the alternative option but that's not the point. I know for a fact that the stores have more appropriate items than they are sending and Woolworths always gets it right for me.

    Plus contacting their customer service is also infuriating. I've called them twice to get refunds and on both occasions they've promised to refund me but haven't.

    Never again.

      Last time I used them they sent 12 Coles bags (15c each). Half of the bags only had one item in them.
      I contacted Coles about it and they didn't reply.

        Sometimes when I do click and collect they just put items in the boot not in bags because the number of bags that they charged me for are full. And I do not mean toilet rolls or bags of potatoes but a carton of eggs. Delivery seems to be more generous.

        I forgot to mention that to. Yep, the first time I ordered they sent 12 bags for $130 of items. A load of the bags had two or three items.

        I've emailed them from their website about 5 times and never had a reply. You need to call their offshore call centre.

      Yep! It didn't work automatically, but I contacted support after placing the order and they gave me a $10 off coupon.
