  • These Classic ones don't have the rinse aid function right?

    • Yep and they don't have the dissolving wrap, you need to unwrap them.

    • Isn't the red thing the rinse aid?

      • +1

According to the ad no, its a new thing that existed after the red thing.

Grocery Run is selling Finish Quantum 25 pack for $7, max 5.
    Shipping is $8.

That comes down to about 34 cents each tablet

  • I just use powder… do you guys reckon these actually clean better than powder, or is it just a convenience thing?

    • Tablets >> powder

That said, powder is often good enough, and is much cheaper IIRC.

  • Yea I just bought this… perfect :D

  • +1

We worked it out per wash compared to powder, we still get a cheaper deal with powder.

    thanks though

Tablets are much better than powder, but I find powder suffices most of the time.

I think an ideal compromise is to use tablets X% of the time, and powder (100 - X)% of the time.

      X could be 50.

EDIT: or zero, in your case :)

    • wondering what would be the best places to buy powder from.

      • I would like to know this also.

Costco sells finish powder. I can't remember the price. But it was about $15 for 3kg? Definetly under $20

      • +1

        bigW on special

        A 3kg finish container gives us 120 washes for $16 (13.3c/wash)

Powerball above are 360 washes for $66 (18.3c/wash)

        • Thanks for the break-down. I'm happy to pay that premium for tablets.

I just use two teaspoons of the Coles Smart Buy powder. Does a great job, give it a try.

    • +2

Handle a teaspoon?! What are are you, crazy man?!

    • Most techs I deal with will say 1 teaspoon will do and will throw these tablets out if they install a new unit.

      • are these aviation technicians?

      • Thats a bit rude I think, the buyer should have the choice using or not using the tablets.

Crazy Clarks has in their latest catalogue Finish Powerball tablet 90 pack for $20
