      Yeah I went into JBHIFI Where they have stations with the watches so you can try them all on and the different sizer too and the 42 seemed too small but the 46 looked just right and i have small wrists. Also it seems tiny bit smaller than The Watch 3

    Mine was dispatched on the 11th according to Samsung but haven't had anything since that email. No tracking number or anything. Does this mean it's still sitting in their warehouse waiting to be picked up? Stuck at the Qld border?
    Been rerouted to fill the jb launch day orders?

      Yep probably not picked up by Startrack/Auspost yet. Once they have it you will receive SMS notification. Prior to that if you have an Auspost account log in to that and you should see it, though it will just have:
      "Shipping information received by Australia Post". For me it was a day and a half from that time before it was updated with picked up from sender. Within 15 minutes of that occurring I was sent an SMS with a date. As to whether that date is accurate, well that remains to be seen.

      Yep, in the same boat, except i've got three things that have been in "Dispatched" status for up to a week now, including this watch. Assuming its due to Startrack being smashed at the moment. My order switched to dispatched status on Tuesday (7th Sept).

      Edit - Have checked my Austpost account and none of them show up :(

        I purchased on the 10th, and mines due out for delivery today.

        • Lucky you. I purchased on 6th and it has been in transit since 8th.

      • Apparently there is no prioty atm with aus post / star track so it will come when it gets sorted unfortunately

    • Lol I contacted them and conveniently it has just been put out for shipping today. Funny how it was already dispatched last week. Anyways have a tracking number now but apparently the delivery date will be wrong too as they can see there is a huge backlog, but they hope I get my watch the soonest.
      Also that EPP website is incredibly buggy isn't it! 😳 but fyi there is a support thing on there for the known error with the EKG/BP not working, it says launch app on watch, go to settings, update from there.

  • Ordered on the 10th and got a notification ytd that it would be delivered today and was delivered by AusPost today.

        Yes the SMS did contain tracking for Star Track. It was also already in my AusPost account a few days back.

  • One week after dispatch, my watch is still nowhere to be seen. Contacted Startrack, and was told Samsung locks their accounts, so there is nothing they can do unless Samsung contacts them.

    My buds pro from the Fold pre-order says delivered but I never received them. Again, startrack says nothing can be done until Samsung contacts them.

    Called Samsung three times regarding both issues. They simply told me 'we recorded your issues' and couldn't care less. Hopeless.

    • I just chatted to Auspost Live chat and they said the item arrived at the delivery centre on 13th so need to allow 3 business days before they can contact the delivery centre. So if I don't receive mine today get in touch with them again tomorrow they will chase up. Not much hope to get it delivered today.

      • same as mine. Star Track asked me to contact Samsung and Samsung lodged a ticket. So I have contacted DB Schenker, who handles the process between Samsung and Star track, and raised the issue. They would get back to me within 24 hours. Let's see what happens.

          • @SR9: I just made an extremely angry call with Samsung, and they guaranteed it will work this time. Let's see.

            • @nosrad: I called Samsung and they lodged an enquiry but they said to expect delivery next week. So annoying. My other delivery from eBay I purchased on 14 Sept already arrived today but this watch is taking forever.

              • @SR9: They just tell you they did. I don’t think their system is working. If you call StarTrack, you will find that they’ve never received any enquiry from Samsung. That’s why I got really angry.

                • @nosrad: I thought I was the only one, was starting to think it was lost or stolen, my start track hasn't moved since Monday, dispatched on Friday 10th as a pre order from 2nd sept, calls to Samsung, start track got nowhere all they said was wait until next week for delivery.

          • @SR9: looks like the call to DBS worked. order was out for delivery at 10.30 am and received it later on the afternoon.

  • So impressed with this watch! First smart watch for me but I'm amazed at what it can do. Especially love all the feedback about sleep stages/o2 sat drops during sleep/snoring. Crazy you can get all this for 300 dollars.

    Hi guys, just a heads up if you ordered the non classic watch in 44mm and looking for a tempered glass for it and couldn't find it on ebay. Just order a tempered glass for fossil gen 4 watch, it fits perfectly on the watch.

    • Would be keen to find one that fits the watch 4 40mm as well as this! I got the spigen one (made specifically for this watch) but it finishes a few mm in which stops the digital bezel working properly (works at the top but not the sides). Also the edge thats more likely to chip/scratch is not protected at all.

  • for those who have received their watches, when did you guys place the order? i order a basic bluetooth 44mm on 10th sept and is still showing "Preparing Order"

    • Big delays through different areas of the network atm so I think it's hit and miss who gets it asap.

    Has anyone got the LTE version and tried to go out for a run, tracking the run obviously, and listening to music at the same time?

    I saw a review saying that the watch was overheating and shutting down in the middle of the (short) run, which would be extremely frustrating and a dealbreaker for me.

    Anyone experienced anything similar, LTE overheating?

  • Ordered the 46mm Silver Classic for $369 through the Unidays samsung portal. I also got the $50 newsletter.
    It was quite a pain to get the voucher because i had to email them that i did not receive it. Took them a week to send but all is well now

      Could you share how you got that price please? I just checked on Unidays but the model you purchased is $489.30 after discount which is same as via Samsung education portal 🤔

      • I believe that's the Bluetooth model not LTE; $419.30 less the $50 voucher

  • Is it just mine or the battery is not that great on Watch 4 with Bluetooth. I have to fully recharge it once a day. ( General use, email/messages. not overly uses with notifications)

      I use mine all day and get loads of notifications and I am usually on about 50% at night. I have worn it to bed a few times and was in the low 30's when I got up.
      I usually put it on around 7am and back on the charger at 9:30-10pm. The battery seems fine to me.

    • Do you have 40mm or 44mm?
      First day of wearing my 40mm LTE 4 today, put on at 6am, went onto power saving mode at 11:30, now on watch only at 1pm and about to go flat! 7hrs only!!

        Went flat at 1:30 😭 don't think I challenged it that much, went for 30 min walk this morning, otherwise nothing much. Didn't even have always on screen turned on. Did have Bluetooth on? Only used headphones for 10mins though

        • Flat again by 2:30pm today, put on fully charged at 6am. Watch is up to date. Screen off.

          • @Helenn: You probably have your wifi on, turn that off and you should have way more battery life. Mine lasts around 30hours and its the 42mm

        • Yeah same here… I got ETA 14th and still waiting. I've been calling everyone. No one has been quite helpful thus far.

          • @BilkZwang: I was told by Samsung they will report the watch as lost and ship me a new one today. I still have no updates from them and doesn't look like I'll hear back.

            Their customer service is non-existent.

              @chdhry: Just got my watch delivered. All it took was several angry emails and phone calls for Samsung to take action.

      • Weird to see several shipping issues as the store appeared to sell pre-allocated quantities that were able to go out of stock

    Really cool having an LTE watch .. going phone free is actually really cool .. not sure why anyone wouldn't buy the LTE version

    • How are experiencing the overheating issue? What's the impact of LTE on the battery?

        No overheating for me when tracking exercise or making calls when tracking a walk. It has overheated a few times randomly when walking around the house doing nothing - puts itself into cooling mode and back to normal in a couple of minutes.

        Battery life on mine is absolutely shite, 7 - 8hrs max and that's with it putting itself into battery saver mode then watch only. Took it back to get battery checked because I thought it must be faulty but guy there said it will be the LTE searching for network and that battery life is to be expected (advertised life is 24hrs). He also implied that I probably wouldn't have much luck returning it as thought there would be a clause in the fine print so big heads up there, better to buy from someone else rather than Samsung.
        That battery life for me means the watch turns off by lunchtime at work then I have a useless bracelet the rest of the day. Really love the watch otherwise so fingers crossed that it is faulty and they can fix it but sounds like im going to be disappointed 😭

  • Just out of curiosity, were your watches shipped in a box or just a padded sleeve? Mine came in a sleeve and the watch box takes some of the shipping knock around. Curious if this is also your experience.

      • Thanks for the confirmation :) When I purchased my active 2 it came packed in a box, seems they are trying to save of shipping now.
