      I do find it helpful but I don't think there are enough studies on it to really say whether it's effective or not.

      Using a weighted blanket has the potential to be beneficial if you have problems with anxiety or sleeping problems, but frankly, I recommend talking with a doctor and a psychologist first. It could be something that could help, like I feel like it did for me, but again, not enough studies.

      Yes. 100% I love it. Get the 10%of your body weight otherwise it's too heavy. The things aren't as profound as you might expect. They're comfortable, not many have a life changing experience from them. Kind of like when you try a really nice expensive padded eye mask compared to a crappy nylon one.

    I had a 9kg one from Harris Scarfe. I’m 65kg and found it frustratingly heavy. The recommended weight is 10% of your body weight. I went with 9kg because, more value for money…

    Will opt for the 6.8kg this time.

        Weighted blankets are supposed to have a calming effect, like someone hugging you. I experienced the exact opposite - increased aggression and frustration, like a fat bloke sat on my chest.

        Pick the weight to suit people! Don’t do what Donny Don’t does.

    TLDR: Unless you know this will work for you, I wouldn't buy it even at this price

    Male, 75kgs, 174cm, I bought the 6.8 kg one since the 9 was out of stock last time I saw a deal on here. Dimensions are far too small to be of any use to me. Tried it once and left it in the box since.

    It also doesn't breath well at all and runs hot.

    Not saying it won't work for you but I wouldn't buy it had I known this was the case. I knew it would be small but I thought it would be fine over the top of something thin and light that actually covered me, alas I was wrong, it's very noticeable when it's not covering part of your body.

    Final note, it's terrible for my allergies, eczema (this one less so) or asthma. I'm happy for everyone who has found this product useful but if it's within you means I'd spend more on one that's bigger and a better material to allow for more breathability and less negative impacts on any of the above mentioned health issues you may have.

      I can still see all sizes in the pink and I can see the 2 smaller sizes in the charcoal for delivery and 1 size in the pink for click and collect. I think it depends on your postcode.

    I’m in bed using mine right now… Love it!
    I definitely recommend the 9kg if you don’t tend to sleep straight like a pin haha.The size of the others seem so small, and it’s not comfortable when it’s only half covering you..

      Does it add much extra warmth? I'm a hot sleeper - I'd love the extra weight, but I'm not sure it would work if it traps a lot of heat.

        It does a bit. It has a warm side and a cooler side, so I flip it around depending on the weather, but you still have something on you so it will still trap a bit of heat.

        In summer I have a bamboo/cotton sheet and the weighted blanket.
        In Winter I have a flannelette(spelling?) sheet, electric blanket, weighted blanket and a doona on top.

        I hope that helps a little!

      I think it just depends on stock levels at stores - and possibly giving preference to delivery orders. I ordered a 9kg charcoal about 3 hours after the deal was posted on here, and received a tracking number for it this morning, being sent from Spotlight Mandurah in WA (I'm in SA).
