EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 BLACK GAMING KR Non-LHR GPU $1,775 + Shipping @ Kickstart Computers

2910

I know there have been slightly cheaper deals but not too bad for the EVGA (one of the better brands) version of this card.

Also, I'm not sure if I see any stock here but could be worth a shot:
MSI RTX 3080 Ventus - $1,799

Edit: I know everyones skeptical about this. I don't see anything online about them other than that one reddit thread saying it's dodgy. But they are listed on staticice which is how I saw this deal. I've emailed them to confirm if they have in stock, but buy at own risk, use PayPal or CC for chargeback in case it falls through.

"PLEASE TELL US, IF WE ARE NOT THE CHEAPEST IN AUSTRALIA” :)

  • Wow. This is the KR version!!!!!

  • +6

When you realise it has an RRP of $1,139 :(

Just wish I had a time machine!

      • +3

Wouldn't help. I think they were $1,300 at launch, but were always out of stock anyway.

        • Around $1260 for the top model FTW3 actually when released. X3 in OPs post here was definitely going for around the $11XX RRP. Source: got one an hour after release.

        • I got mine for 1139 so you are wrong

        • +4

I bought my 3080 XC3 Ultra for $1189 from PLE, I ordered in november last year and received it 2 weeks ago.

Looking back I should have bought a scalped one for 1600 around launch and mined with it until it paid for itself before using it for gaming haha.

          • @PiratePete1911: I'm DEC and still waiting :(

            • @Xistn: Hopefully you are less than a month away at this point then, which model did you order? I feel like they got more stock in of the FTW3 Ultra and the XC3 Ultra compared to the others.

              • @PiratePete1911: Well my Queue bar has not moved since, and I hope they don't force a LHR unit.

I went the FTW3 ULTRA Hybrid variant

I don't care for the wait, the frustration I get is oh check fridays but they don't update their news for months.

    • How can I get in on this

    • damn i dont even need a new GPU but at that price i'd upgrade in a heartbeat

    • I bought one at that price, but it was a 3-4month wait.

    • That's how much I paid for mine

    • RRP was fake… Hence the first R is just "recommended".

Only PLE listed the cards at RRP, and many purchasers at launch are still waiting for their cards to arrive…..

    How legit is this store?

    • +7

Yeah it has really dodgy reviews.

  • +9

Store seems dodgy, might not be in stock, be careful before ordering.

I really hope no one has purchased one from this site! Admins need to block this from being posted on here.

    • +8

Yeah came up straight away on my search as well,

If you roll the dice - do yourself a favour and avoid bank transfer and go down the path of Paypal etc so you can at least dispute the transaction. WHen you add in the 3 percent surchage on those means (another warning bell ringing) it isnt really much cheaper than going with PLE or another quality vendor.

All pricing are subject to change without further notice

Ie order at $1775 and tomorrow we'll email you to pay another $600.

    • +4

That's actually not what that means in legalise. This statement actually means that the price may change today, tomorrow or in one hour, but regardless of the statement, if you place an order and pay for it, the price must be accepted, otherwise it is known as bait and switch advertising which is illegal and should be reported to Fair Trading.

Looks dodgy. Why does paypal have a 3% surcharge? Never seen that before.

    • +1

      2.4% + 30c, I think.

  • +3

Very dodgy. He's a drop shipper. And can sell you KL version when he gets hold of one. Also no ETA.

  • +4

Store seems dodgy, terrible reddit reviews!
Pricing subject to change without notice. Super sus

This is a scary website if I’m totally honest. Nothing checks out! As mentioned already above, beware and by at your own risk! Don’t come back and complain after the fact. We have a community that Actually cares about people getting scammed! You have been advised.

  • +6

store like this shouldn't meet post requirement.

    • +3

I agree… Mod should look into this.

  • Why OP post doggy store?

    • +8

he will never be able to fullfill it, your order nummber is at least 40 in the queue

    • +1

Well atleast your money is safe!

  • Every single card they have is apparently in stock and infinite quantities are available.

  • +1

Lol why do small computer stores always have the dodgiest looking websites.

    • +3

      because they are dodgy

    • +3

Because the person running the store (normally a hardware person) thinks they can make a website too!

  • ABN linked to the business name "sell your own home" since April this year……I'll pass!

    • I wonder if you can pick up from his house that he runs his business out of?
I wont post the address for obvious reasons but it doesn't get much less legit that this!

      • +2

Many Sole Traders run their business out of their own home… Doesn't make it dodgy.

        • Of course. I would suggest that the vast majority of registered sole traders run their business out of their own home.
Running a retail business selling high end computer components out of your own home is a completely different thing though.

  • XC3 runs 10 degrees hotter than my gigabytes Aorus master and asus Strix ! Maybe FTW cards run cooler, but this card is a radiator right out of the box!

    • +3

Yeah it does run hotter. This is expected XC3 series is the only 2 slot card other then the FE. The others are 2.5+ slot and have larger cooler/heatsink. IMO this card is made perfectly for SFF PC cases like in the Dan A4. Otherwise would recommend against this card in a normal sized PC.

    • +1

Disagree as i own both, and my Gigabyte is the worst piece of shit i have ever owned, sits on its max temp of 80deg while fans spin at 100% while playing a moderate game

Not to mention you can not even RMA anything with Gigbyte atm as they are suffering a ransomware attack, they used to be good but are garbage these days

    • This one is one of those that had the cheap capacitors, or they fix that?

  • +1

The logo is literally someone kicking a PC. LOL.

  • +1

Thanks OPs‘ opinion above, I throught it was a good deal but yeah, definitly doggy one. DO NOT BANK TRANSFER.
