    Hi there,
    We roasted our House Blend on Tuesday 31.08. No expiry per se. Our roasted beans are at their optimum within 2-3 weeks of their roasted date.

      Ohh really? Hmm previously I have taken these overseas as presents and it usually lasts people 3-4 months. I didn't realise the best before was so short.

        It's not a 'Best Before' date. Just when the beans are at their most optimum! However you'll continue to enjoy their flavour after their roasted date. Best to keep your beans in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight is what we always recommend.

        As a home hobby roaster I can vouch for the 2-3 window after roasting as optimum drinking time. Although I usually find 4-5 weeks it’s still ok if beans have been stored properly. It kills me when I see that supermarket coffee has a 12 month use by date on the packaging.

  So with Australia Post delays these beans will be past the optimum taste of you roasted them three days ago

    We can't help the delays that affect our third party shipping carriers inc Australia Post. We highly doubt the delivery times are longer than 7 - 10 business days. Currently our orders are going out within 7 business days to our customers.

    We are merely keeping our OzB community in the loop with current delivery processes!!

  I think last time I got some it was very decent coffee. But I have about 2.5kg to get through from other deals still. 😬
