With ETH on it's way to 4K again, I don't think prices are coming down much anytime soon.

    Amogus.

  • Just when I thought I had seen the ugliest looking GPU…

  • How does this compared to the other 3070 series?

  • -1

If I'm not mistaken this 3070 is one of the hottest and loudest tested by hardware unboxed on YouTube

    • +5

You are indeed mistaken as that model was the iGame advanced OC, not this one.

      • Sorry my bad, I was going off memory

      • Although going off their own website …
        https://en.colorful.cn/comparison.aspx?mid=102&id=18261876

It's a small difference between the two, the ultra is lighter, has less TDP, less boost clock speed… which I am assuming that it will perform slightly worse than the Advanced.
Although, I'm no expert in this and I may again be wrong :P

  • You misspelled Strix 3080. :P

  • Will this fit in my Matx case ? 😂

    • My Strix 3070ti did in fact fit in my older Evolv mATX, however I had to remove the lower fan. The Strix card is absolutely freaking enormous, and tbh I switched to a full size case after the card purchase before it was just so cramped in the case and I knew thermals would be a problem.

    • You'll have to check your case's manual, and the size of the graphics card usually on the manufacturer's website

Pay same price downgrade from 3070 ti to 3070 in just a few days…

For what it's worth, for an extra 90-91 dollareedoos you can get a 3070 Ti from PLE/Gorilla Gaming (never heard of gorilla gaming before though?

    PNY GeForce RTX 3070 TI XLR8 Uprising EPIC-X 8GB GDDR6X 1449 from PLE
    https://www.ple.com.au/Products/647311/PNY-GeForce-RTX-3070-…

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GameRock OC 8GB Palit GPU 1450 from gaming gorilla
    https://gorillagaming.com.au/products/nvidia-geforce-rtx-307…?

I don't consider any of these, including this post, a deal though, so i'm not bothering to post them as deals.. the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 Ti EAGLE 8GB RGB was 1299 under a month ago.

MSRP for a 3070ti is 959 and 3070 is 809 - a $150 gap. If you're already paying 400 MSRP an extra ~90 for what would usually cost an extra 150 is kind of something? idk.

I'll take food for my thoughts if anyone is offering.

    • gorillagaming is NZ stock, need to add GST….

      • I guess PLE is the one to go with then

  • How legit is this site though?
