I'm keen on this TV. Looking for a deal on a 75inch.

    • The 75" is $2925 + delivery at GG Commercial. Undercuts JB etc. by a (very) large margin.

      • I am a member but I cant see it?

        • Send them and email and ask for pricing. They'll send you a PDF with prices valid for 30 days.

Ask for a few different models, sizes and you'll have everything on the one PDF.

    • 85C825 i.e. 85" version is $4354 (+$55 delivery). This item is not available on TGGC website so you need to send a quote request.

For this price is it better than Samsung Neo?

    • The QN85A was selling for 2250 delivered recently, so price wise. I am also curious how the TCL TV compares

      • +2

I got it for $2191 delivered (well still waiting to be delivered) last week. Really wanted to find one of these in store to compare but nobody had one yet. Threw in a cheap soundbar with their cashback offer.

TCL seem to be what Hisense was a couple of years ago. They seem to have dropped the ball by giving us lower quality models compared to the states and TCL have stepped it up.

If you don't need the buily in soundbar and Dolby vision support, Samsung may be better. Although reviews suggest that the Samsung has poor black levels

      • +4

Yeah, some regions swapped out the VA for IPS panels In a couple of models I believe.

        • +1

Only 85" Samsung QN85 gets the VA panel, smaller sizes are IPS

  • any deals on 55 model

  • +3

Dam! Would love to see a real review those ones just seem like ads

    • Basically any review these days

  • How would this compare to the Hisense Q8 that was recently discontinued?

    • +3

Will have better picture and sound, but at twice the price q8 is probably best bang for buck

  • how does this compare to LG C1?

    • +2

Being OLED I would imagine the LG C1 is a better TV but how much more $$$?

      • +2

Depends on your viewing situation and if you prefer better contrast or brightness

    • Deeper blacks on OLED and better area dimming (self-lit pixels vs 160 dimming zones). This gets much brighter though so bright HDR scenes will be more punchy.

    • Can anyone see the price on ggc?

  • +4

Just remember that Mini LED is the refinement of LED backlighting with local dimming (160 zones for this TV), and not the same as MicroLED (upcoming technology aimed to compete with OLED).

I have a tcl qled and it’s great. Just purchased a Sony a80j oled and whilst I know it’s better the tcl is still up there and probably brighter. I’m no expert but it’s just as good

  • Could someone who has access to TGG commercial please post a screenshot so I can price match in store?

    • Pm me

    • Don't think you can do it.
Good Guys don't do purchases for commercial prices in store. Trust me I tried it once.

      • I got them to do it once in store. Just have to talk to the right person. Jb have even price matched tgg commercial price for me before.

Annoying how so many new TVs only have 2 full 2.1 HDMI ports

  • Not as high spec but I just ordered the 85" TCL from GG commercial on Friday for $2157 which seems to be a great deal also.

  • Is there an easy way to get commercial access? Wanting to order this. Was going to get the Sony x90j but I think this is better.

    • Become a suncorp super member. It's free.

    • Did you end up buying a C825? I too am thinking of getting a X90J but am now looking at this C825 tv.

      • Not yet. No stock in NQ.

        • ok. i heard the remote is laggy af. hopefully someone can confirm if it is or isnt
