I was about to comment that gun accessories are not allowed to be posted here…

        Well it’s a good thing you didn’t …

How do these compare to say Sennheiser IE 300. Anyone got both to review?

    • +14

      These are a bit cheaper…

      • +17

Sennheiser marked theirs down to $399 to compete though.

Value proposition is way better. You need to remember the rule of diminishing returns

      • +3

So you could buy at least 100 of these instead of the Sennheisers. That would be so many layers of cancellation……

    These have awesome specs…!!!

    Frequency Response: Omitted
    Resistance: Omitted
    Driver: Omitted
    Power: Omitted

    but….

Awesome!!! But for @$3.50 - I bet the packaging is worth the money if nothing more! :)

Maybe the 'soft silicone' ear rubbers will fit another set of headphones? Makes it worth the money…

Maybe I can cut the cable and they will become 'true wireless'?

You'd probably be better off buying some quality Spinfit eartips off Ali for an extra $5?

      • Dont think… Wait… I know I wont be buying anything to do with any of this one…

Are these good enough to stop me from hearing my wife telling me to do stuff around the house during lockdown in Sydney?

If they do, I’ll pay 100x the ticket price!

I don’t think mankind has developed this level of technology yet.

    • It depends on how hard you push them in - gotta get that seal perfect!

saw an incident last Friday, waiting at the lights to cross the rd in Perth CBD. hear the police car coming with siren on. a bloke was crossing on the other side, with his headphone on, oblivious to his surroundings. he crossed right in front of the rushing police car n lucky the police car driver saw him n slowed down to let him cross or he could hv been killed. The police car driver was pissed n turn on the siren louder in front of that guy n still he did not even turn to look at the police!
Don't know what brand headphone he's wearing tho…

    • Must be these as it states: Noise Isolating: quiet tech for blocking out surrounding noise
On a serious note, I've seen so many ppl oblivious to their surroundings with their headphones/earphones on and face glued to their screens while walking. It's a matter of time…

If they went right in front of him then they might be vision cancelling headphones. Before that I would have said he was listening to Nelly's Shake Ya Tailfeather and ignored the extra sirens.

I thought noise "cancelling" headphones wouldn't particularly block police sirens much more than passive noise isolating headphones (which are already a hazard), since the higher frequency squeal enters the 1 kHz - 2 kHz range that noise cancelling can't target. However, the expected pattern would change, and those high frequencies I believe are difficult to localise, so you might hear a high frequency squeal but not know where it's coming from.

A lot of people are aloof to the world regardless of what they hear and see.

    • Sounds like awesome headphones

Would these be good for sleeping with?

    • -1

No these are not good for anything

    • I wouldn't use any in-ears for sleeping.

I bought a set that hook over each ear: Audio Technica ATH-EQ300M

They're closed back so the sound doesn't change too much when you rest the side of your head on the pillow.
There are other brands that offer similar styles.

    • i read in news a while back someone actually managed to swallow 1 of their wireless earphones in the sleep…quite unbelievable! so that's y u probably shouldn't sleep with them on!
i even hv difficulty swallowing big supplement tablets, so not sure how this guy did it in his sleep…

  • I know its lockdown and all but that's getting a bit desperate

  • Wish Noble Coles did online orders.
