  • Swisse is the absolute most useless supplement brand. 20mg iron is a joke even at $5 per 30 tablets

      More is not necessarily better…

20mg is well over the daily requirement for people if you factor in diet for most people. Please refer to the product description.

I'm not a big fan of Swisse but your this comment is sending the wrong message. No need to be taking 100's of mgs for no reason.

Your body has no effective way of excreting iron but is very good at storing it. This isn't supposed to be used for treating iron deficiency anaemia.

  • How much iron do you need?

  • Bought two OP thanks.. pumping iron!

My suggestion is to seek advice from a doctor. If you look at the iron dosage it's 20mg of elemental iron per tablet.
Ferrograd C costs $19 for 30 tablets with 105mg of elemental iron. Meaning you need to take 5 of these tablets to be equivalent to 1 Ferrograd C tablet.
So in actual fact, you are paying $25 for approximately the same amount of iron.

    I am Dr Jason Yu.

    • Thank you :)
      Great advice
