    Lacks pseudoephedrine

    • Any over the counter medication lacks it these days.

Not required when you have phenylephrine

Phenylephrine is like nonalcoholic beer or wine. Does absolutely nothing in comparison to the real thing.

    • So I don't usually take cold meds but I hear old Codral and new Codral (when it comes to the orange night tablets) are completely different? The old one has this "pseudoephedrine" stuff but the new ones are just benadryl?

If it's over the counter yes, you have to ask for anything with pseudoephedrine, for a long time you could buy them but as it's a derivative of ephedrine (key ingredient to make speed I believe) it wasn't long before it was also used for that purpose… First it went from large packs to much smaller then to not available unless you ask and hand over your ID. Haven't bought any for a long time… But I assume the pharmacist will question you a bit before selling anything with pseudoephedrine in it…

  • when is the expiry date?

  • Match price at Chemist warehouse?

  • Last time I had one of these it tasted terrible.

I feel like all these products are marketed as "you can still go to work when you are sick". Hopefully these days if people are genuinely sick they can take a day off work. I have had jobs that were "mission critical" before that I was told I couldn't, but that was usually because of poor systems and lack of coverage than anything.

  • Is this good for covid? 🤡
