20% off Organic Sultanas from Sultanagirl + $17 Delivery @ Farmhouse Direct

100

20% off all orders from Sultanagirl (discount applied at checkout)
eg. Vine Dried Organic Sultanas $113 for 12.5kg (Inc Delivery)

These sultanas are amazing. I buy in bulk, keep 3kgs for myself and onsell the rest at cost to firends. They last for ages (around 6 months if kept sealed). This is a great way to help out a small scale producer and enjoy delicious, organic tanas.

  • keep 3kgs for myself

    That can't be healthy…

    • Depends if he/she is going to eat it in 1 month or 1 year or 1 decade…

      • They're not going to be very good eating in 1 year…

        • How about he/she has family members helping him eating 3kgs in 1 month….

          • @pyramid: It's still a lot of sultanas and they are very high in sugars.

Yeah a family of 4 eating 3kg of sultanas over about 3 months.. pretty bad. At least we're not shooting heroin i guess

      • pretty bad.

As long as you don't post it on Instagram, you should be right…

What's the difference between the 'Natural' ones and the 'Organic' ones?

  • Which is better, Vine Dried or Sun Baked?

    • +1

From the website: "The difference between these (Sun Baked) and the Vine Dried is we pick and place these grapes on sheet in the hot sun to dry. This process almost cooks the sugars and changes the flavour slightly, the result is a little more caramelised and chewier."

      • thanks…

        Do they do trial packs?

        • No worries. They did a couple of years ago, not available at the moment by the looks. Might be worth contacting and see if they can do something for you.

  • Are there other sites like this one?

  • Oh I remember buying stuff through Farmhouse Direct ages ago. It’s a good initiative run by Auspost. But shipping is hefty. I just checked, a 600g pack of sultanas for $16 or 1kg pack of sultanas for $22 was going to have $17 shipping. But it was stall wide so you need to buy lots to make it feasible. I think there’s some profit being made there since Auspost also run the business.
