nice comparison tables there - helped me make my choice - thanks OP

How is the L10 Pro? My wife wanted a $3k Roomba s9+ that she saw on facebook and I nearly fainted. Will this do the job instead?

    • I've been watching out for the L10 Pro too and the reviews looks good for the price. Gearbite had it for $699, but looks like the increased the price to $799 for this sale. If you can get it closer to $550 it would be nice. This is a new model for Dreame so prices hasn't dropped too much yet.

      • +1

        Ahh that's annoying

        • Looks like they dropped the price down to $755, so does work out to be $589 now after 22% discount + 3% gift card discount, so it should even be cheaper. I'm buying it :) Good lucky.

          • @Eurtopia: Can I ask where you get the 3% gift card? thx

            • +2

@cyrax83: Shopback sells ebay gift cards for 3% off.

      • Z10 Pro should be soon coming to Australia if you could wait but of course it will cost a few hundreds more.

        • yeah, I saw the Z10 (includes auto bin), reviews are good too, just don't know what the price would be and probably have a wait a couple more month afterwards for a decent sale. Thanks again for the heads up!

          • +1

@Eurtopia: I spoke with the support from Numi (another retailer in AU, and if I didn't spell it wrong), they advised that it will be around $1200. But I guess it will be around $1000 when on sale.

        • the autobin seems like a huge hassle - something else to clean/go wrong/and need to keep buying the bag…

          • @spoonmugen: It comes down to personal choice really.

More and more manufacturers have made it available either as an option or part of a package.

    • +2

Cheaper to not make a mess

    • My L10 Pro arrived on Monday. I’m really impressed. I think it does a better job than my Dyson V10. I’ve run it three times so far and my carpets have never looked cleaner.

      • cool that exactly what I have the Dyson V10 and just bought the L10 pro,I have all tiles or timber looking forward to see it.

purchased on Friday morning but guess they only dispatch on Monday

Be carefull with dreame, some disturbing news here:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWqFxQpRbv8&t=1780s

    • Thanks. This should be higher.

    • Yeah I’m planning on getting a stick vacuum anyway. If I was getting a robot one, I’d probably put in firewall rules to block traffic from the vacuum MAC address to the Internet. Not sure if the app works like

App > Dreame server > vacuum, or
App > vacuum (on the same network)

      Assuming it’d be the latter.

      • I have an older Xiaomi robovac which was App > Mi Cloud Server > Vacuum - I had it connected to a seperate "IoT" VLAN and the app crapped out when I blocked internet traffic. Wouldn't work even when trying to control the vacuum using a phone/app on the same subnet as it.

        • Yeah that’s what I was wondering, sounds like it needs to talk to the mothership. Stuff that. That’s why I avoid anything that has an app.

Good to know they can be rooted though. I never considered a vacuum. I might watch the rest of the DEFCON video tonight.

      • +1

Anyone happen to try this with a Dreame D9? which I only recently just got lol

Not that I'm too fussed overall being just a Robovac, not something with a camera or other security stuff. (unless it's sucking up a lot of data along with the dust :P)

    • Does this only apply to the robot vacs? Or do the stick vacs need a WiFi connection too…

      • +1

Dreams v11 and no wifi at all. For robot vacs it's pretty essential

    • GG’s

  • can gearbite do great deal on dashcam ?

  • +1

Any feedback on the F9 at this price? Really want a good robot vac that I can set and forget on a schedule.

    • I am looking for some feedback on this too please..

  • too many choices……. (which is a good thing i guess…). G10 or T30…. I don't even know how to compare (even with your amazing compare table)….

  • Are these as good as Dyson V11 or V12?

  • +2

how does warranty work with these kind of products ?

    • +1

Not sure how it is with Gearbite but I bought a dream T20 last year through Indiegogo.
Recently, the trigger button on my vacuum was getting stuck in the body. I emailed Dreame about it. They replied within 2 hours asking for more details. They sent a replacement body within a day of my reply and I received it within 10 business days (it came from China and this was during times of really bad postage delays).

      • wow ..that's really good

  • I've got 1C model of this, very happy but with mine the downside is non replaceable battery. the battery drains using in full swing, with sonic sound in nearly 10 mins. To wait until battery cools, to put to re-charge is a hassle. So consider having one with replaceable battery 🔋to use longer when needed

  • V9 is great but always go for more suction ;)

    • That's what he said

    • My V9 was great but the carpet cleaning head is broken (spins briefly then stops) and I can't seem to buy a new head as they are always OOS. Sadly the hard floor head is useless on carpet, so I might need to replace the whole thing.

  • Legend with the comparison 👍👍👍

  • So none of these stick vacs come with multiple heads - 1 for carpet, 1 for hard floor etc..?

The v11 and G10 look almost identical!!

    • +1

Based on past deals/comments, the v11 better for hard floors and G10 better for carpet.

If I'm wrong, hopefully someone corrects me before I buy.

      • Was going to splurge on the T30 but no soft roller for hard floors :(

        • Yeah I’m interested too, we have some of each but most hard. Current vacuum is crap on hard floors, pushes bits around.

      • Thanks for the info - am leaning towards the V11 - seems to get great reviews! We have mainly hard floors - only 2 bedrooms with carpet and a couple of rugs.

        • +1

Got the v11 a couple of months back. 90% wood and a couple of tight weave rugs and it's great. Replaced a Dyson V6 and the difference is incredible.

          • @mattman: Great to know this, mattman. We are upgrading from Dyson V6 too with V11. Thank you!

        • Yeah I’ve just looked at a couple of YouTube reviews. Looks like that head on the T30 is pretty poor on hard floors. The front is too low and it just bulldozes stuff around. In one he picked it up and reversed over the oats he was trying to pick up. I hate having to do that on our old vacuum. The V11 has the spinning brush with the open front and it actually picks stuff up.

I’m torn because the T30 has a bigger cup and probably is better quality but that head I can’t agree with. We have lots of hard floor.

Edit: Ark it, I'm pulling the trigger on a V11. Last us a few years, can do half the house at a time, it'll do.

    • +2

I got the G10 a month back and it is fine for hard floor (90% timber floor, 10% tile). The head that comes with the G10 is awesome for dog/human hair, no tangles on the roller = no need to clean the head. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything vs V11's soft roller head, which may be hard to clean depending on your situation.

Only down side with G10 is the small capacity bin, have to empty it quite often compared to the Dyson and makes just as much dust on opening. Still, super happy with the purchase.

  • +1

Can someone suggest which is better for a home with no pets, to be used on Carpet, floorboards & Tiles.
    Budget is around $250. Ta

    • +1

I often just use the carpet brush everywhere. The hard floor roller is nice but no good for carpet.

    • +1

Get the V9 combo, comes with roller for carpet and hard floors

  • thanks OP any deals for Viomi V3?

  • +1

Air purifier too please! And the vacuum stand?

  • What would be the equivalent of Dyson V8?

    • -1

Dreame V11 (hard floors) or xiaomi g10 (carpets/mixed) would be somewhere around Dyson v8-v10 range.

  • So I've looked into it - it looks like the L10 Pro doesn't have self empty waste - where the Z10 Pro does?

  • Anyone used the G10 ?

  • +11

I bought G10 about a month ago very happy with the performance. upgrade from Dyson V7. G10 is way better in every aspect. Auto mode works well for me on the carpet and hard floors as well. Battery backup is also great. I can easily vacuum the three-bedroom house in a single charge on auto mode. Hope this help.

    • cheers

    • +2

Agreed. I upgraded from my 5 year old Dyson V6 a few months ago and the G10 is excellent. I've got a small flat - small kitchen, big living area and bedroom - and can easily vacuum the entire place with lots of battery to spare. I got it for $269 at a previous ozbargain/eBay deal.

    • +1

Would you recommend getting an extra battery? They are also 20% off currently. Or reckon single battery is fine for 3 bedda?

      • +1

I would save up and buy a new battery when the current battery degrades in 3 - 4 years time. The G10 on auto mode does my 3 bedder house with 2/5 of battery to spare. That's on hard floor though, others can comment for carpet.

        • good advice

    • How well does it work on hard floors? I said ide never buy another vac without a dedicated hard floor head after having the Dyson V6 with only a carpet head.

      • +1

The head on the G10 is great for hard floors. Picks up everything and you also have a wet mop attachment which means you can vac and mop at the same time! (Ps I haven't tried this yet)

The G10 head don't get enough credit for the antitangle roller, it is so great to not have to clean up the pet/human hair that usually gets tangled up in the head with my Dyson.

  • Forgive my stupidity, but I tried using these codes against the Xiaomi G9 and V9 and it just says "Looks like this code isn't ready yet. Please try again later.".

Just checking but has anyone managed to purchase anything here with these codes yet?

    • +1

      Starts in 3 minutes (10AM AEST) :)

      • Awesome thanks, completely missed that part =(

        • Weird, now it says "This code can't be applied to your order."

          • @sergeynew37: What were you trying to buy? I just managed to snag the V9 with carpet head

    • Getting the same issue. The codes simpy don't work.
Ohhh 10 am start, thanks :)

  • damn nice deal. I got this v11 for $331 just 2weeks ago

    • +2

      Do you rate it?

Wife wants a Dyson but i cant pay 2-3x the price of these…

      • There are some Dreame V11 models that have a torque/carpet cleaning head instead of the hard floor roller type head. But they are hard to find. So I got the G10 instead - apparently better on carpets.

      • +1

I rate it for specific purpose - random cleaning on hard surfaces coz it's super convenient.

Wouldn't make it the main for thorough cleaning due to:
        - not good on rugs/carpets
        - battery doesn't last long enough
So we'll stick to the dyson wired vacuum for rugs/carpets and thorough cleaning.

edit: wife also rates it for convenience

      • -1

Wife gets what she is given. Besides, she will just be happy you have remembered her birthday….

  • +1

Anyone with any experience dealing with Gearbite for support/warranty issues? What is the warranty period?

  • Nice one, setup an email alert for the G10 on Ozbargain 2 days ago.

  • Damn, I bought the G10 at $359 2 days ago! Great price.

  • Weird question but does the metal tube on anyone else's V9 carry a charge while plugged into the charger. If I gently brush my hand on the tube I can feel and hear a slight electrical charge. It's not enough to generate a static shock though. I don't have a multimeter to test it though and it's working fine.

    • +2

My Macbook Pro does the same thing - run your hands over the metal case when plugged in and can feel it buzzing!!

  • anyone can review the Dreame L10 Pro?

I have the xiaomi s5 at work, its still alive and doing well. thinking of one for home.

  • Been hanging out for the G10 for a few weeks now. Jumped on it. Thanks!

  • Dreame T30 vs V11?

    • Im tossing up between the T30 and G10 - just not sure if it is twice as good??

      • +1

        In the same boat..

    • +2

I've got the T30 for about a week now which replaced my Dyson V6 and V7. Quality built is not as good as the Dyson TBH, but for the $$ and quality it's really value for money in my opinion. The Dreame V11 is like a Dyson V10 while the Dreame T30 is closer to a Dyson V15 which in addition has a LCD screen, dust sensor and removal battery. So it really depends on your budget.

      • No reason to not get it then? Just spend the extra to get the best non dyson? Wish there was a soft head for hard floors for the t30 :(

        • I only have tiles in my house and it seems to pick up dirt and dust pretty well in the Auto mode. We also notice that it picked up bigger pieces of rubbish better than the Dyson, as the Dyson would flick the larger pieces forward or backwards and you have to play Hungry Hippos with the pieces to catch them. Also have noticed that less hair gets stuck on the rollers too, but only has been a week of use.

          • @Eurtopia: Thanks for the info! Any comments related to the above "Looks like that head on the T30 is pretty poor on hard floors. The front is too low and it just bulldozes stuff around. In one he picked it up and reversed over the oats he was trying to pick up. I hate having to do that on our old vacuum. The V11 has the spinning brush with the open front and it actually picks stuff up."

            • @JuryWheel: Yeah, just found out the Asian (non-Aus) version comes with the Soft Roller Brush which is only for hard floor surfaces. You're right about the opening too, which is a good thing for bigger items. I wonder if the other Dreame heads (V11, V12, etc.) are compatible. I will also see if it's worth purchasing to after a few months. Currently it's picking items which are as big as 3mm fine. More real life testing required.

    • Was thinking the same today. I bought the V11 as the T30 head is pretty bad on hard floors and pushes bits around. We do have a fair bit of carpet too but I rather it work well on hard and just alright on carpet. Can’t see dirt on carpet as much anyway.

  • Do any of the stick vacuums have a kit which bendy attachments? Need something to clean the car interior and also sometimes a tiny attachment to clean out the coffee beans when my Breville coffee grinder gets stuck.

    • Dreame v11 had a hard floor roller, crevice tool and bendy neck. Only missing carpet head (hard to get as well afaik).

    • As far as I can tell, the V10 and V11 both have the hose attachments.

  • Thanks.
    Got the V11 & F9.

G10 is cheaper than V11, but we only have hard floors, so the V11 heads looks better for hard floors.

  • I got the Dreame V9 for $173.34

  • Bought the YESOUL S3 Spin Bike from gearbite store with 22% off
    pretty good price!

    • Hey mate, did you get the S3 in this sale? I can only see the M1 on there.

      • It was on sale but it’s all sold out now, when I bought it only 3 in stock.

  • Anyone have any comments on the G10 (or any of the other vacs for that matter) for use with pets?
Will it stuff up the roller head?
