      I have the G10 and the normal head is great with pet hair. It comes with an antitangle feature and it works as advertised. I haven't had to clean up the roller for over a month now and it is still clean. I have a big white double coated dog.

    Trying to decide between the G10 and the V10.

    I like the G10 because of the head, which looks better for carpet (we have hard floors and carpet in the house). However, the V10 has the flexible hose attachment, which would be handy in situations such as vacuuming the car.

    Does anyone know whether there is a hose attachment available for the G10? I can see on the Gearbite website that there is a hose attachment available for the V9/10, but I can't see any for the G10.

      G10 would be closer to V11 in terms of the motor and power.
      G10 is better for carpet because of it's head design.
      G10 also seems to have a mop function as well? So G10 maybe better overall.
      I got the V11 (because I have mostly floor laminates), but probably should have got the G10 instead due to the mop function (& G10 is cheaper) :-(

    What models would people recommend for thick longer pile carpet? Also have lino and small amount of tiles but carpet is the obvious main concern. Currently got a Dyson V6 and a big vacuum that rarely gets used as its too heavy and hard (household elderly and disabled).

      Get it from Dreame AU if you want, they are having special package that comes with carpet brush head, although I am not sure if they still include the soft roller.

      V11 needs a separate carpet head that is not currently in stock yet. V11 works great on hard floors and rugs.

        Wondering if you know how to tell what they've been saying the "new pin" and "old pin" carpet heads?

        So far I have learnt that the difference is one version has the two pins closer to each other, the other version has them further apart from each… which one is new and which one is old?

        I have got two answers from GB…

    Got the G10 a few weeks back - awesome vacuum and very easy to use. Compared to our Dyson V11, I'd say it's almost on par… altho easier to manouvier because it's lighter. The dyson seems like it's a little more powerful maybe because it's louder, I don't know :)

    But just the fact it was 1/5 the price makes it a winner already for me.

    Oh damn! The price of the T30 is simply too good to pass it by.

    I bought the T20 Pro (which has a mopping function), extra accessories and an extra battery for $600 from Costco at the start of August.
    The batteries do not last long on turbo mode compared to my Dyson V11. No sure if I can still return it.

    Ordered the G10 to replace my dying Dyson V6. Can anyone confirm if it comes with a wall mountable docking station?

    Also, ebay advises delivery of 26th October, seems a bit late if dispatch is 30th September? (I'm in Melbourne).

      I opened up the G10 last night and can confirm it comes with a wall mount which can be drilled onto the wall.

      I’d say the estimated delivery is a bit loose just in case and it’ll get delivered earlier than that.

    Wanting to pull the trigger on a robot vacuum. Besides the variations in price, would the Xiaomi Dreame L10 Pro or the Xiaomi Viomi S9 be a better option? Apartment with wood laminate floors and low pile rugs.

    Edit: Wife really wants the Viomi S9 auto dumping bin to empty it less… Hmm…..

    I purchased the Ecovacs OZMO 920 from this deal for $329. It hasn't arrived yet, so I'm considering returning that and buying the Dreame F9 here for almost $100 less. I understand the Dreame has some better specs on paper (e.g. suction) and I like the idea of it getting under the couch, but looks like it's mapping functionality is not as good. I've looked at online reviews but they're not too conclusive on what's better. I mostly have hard floors and a couple of rugs, so mopping is important too. Does anyone have any real world advice on which would be the better choice? Thank you in advance.

    received my L10 only tired the vaccum so far first robovac ever, wow this thing has so far never touched any of my furniture or walls,even chiars it will go underneath but never touch the legs haha. Not sure if the roborocks do that also or if they bang against stuff.

    only question is when I try to update firmware it says current region does not match model( I selected AU region) how do I fix this? @Gearbite

            @hamroll: Depends on the devices that you have in MiHome, I have many that won't work with AU. As this l10 is pretty new, probably will take a while before it's fully supported in other regions

    Order update - the hard floor head I ordered 4 days after the vacuum arrived this morning. Still no update re the vacuum itself. I'm starting to get dubious about whether auspost actually received it and maybe gearbite didn't have stock available…. never experienced auspost just sitting on a parcel for 9 days 'processing' it when the delivery address is in the same state.
