The one linked is the lower end model with a Ryzen 7 5800H and GTX 1650, and it does not come with the XG mobile eGPU. There are also models with a Ryzen 9 5900HS and a RTX 3050/3050ti, but those are around $2600/$2700. Free C&C and delivery to select areas.

The model with a Ryzen 9 5980HS and GTX 1650 internal graphics that comes with an RTX 3080 in an external GPU is $3998 here.

This is definitely a one-of-a-kind laptop which is super portable (1.3kg) and relatively powerful (dedicated GPU in 13") at the same time, while also allowing you to get very good performance with the XG mobile. The XG mobile connects via a proprietry connector with PCIE Gen3 x8 bandwidth. You can use part of the connection as a regular USB-C when not using the eGPU. The XG mobile also acts a IO hub and power supply for the Flow X13.

In case anyone is wondering I have the 5980HS with the eGPU - I'll be returning it since it has so many issues.
Audio out sometimes dies for no reason
Wifi continuously dies and needs a restart for the wifi card to work again
    Hardware BSOD errors
If it goes to sleep it'll go into a reboot cycle because of the SD card reader on the eGPU - this can be fixed with driver changes.
If connecting a second screen if it goes to sleep second screen won't come back on even though its detected

The laptop alone is great but the eGPU has issues.

    • yeah its a common symptom with the 1650 version, apparent they 3050/ti version dont have these issues but its also heaps more expensive so…

  • This is now expired :(
