Men's Bamboo Underwear 25% off @ Step One

Got an email this morning about doing some bamboo quiz for bamboo day and get a discount code. Code seems to be generic so go nuts ☺️

Not a fan of bamboo underwear but thanks. I often experience that the material is getting weak after a while.

    • Haven't had that happen to mine. Only been using them since the start of the year. Seems to be fine, the colours not as vibrant after a few washes and maybe not quite as soft.

Bought a few of these about a year ago. Really unimpressed with them to be honest. The size guide wasn't accurate at all for me and they ended up being too small.

      same experience i had

Yeah I'm a big guy and their measurements put me in a 3xl size. They fit but get waist band roll over. I now order a 4xl and they're great most of the time. Though in their newer releases I've noticed inconsistencies in the sizes.

    • Same for me. Size 30/32 waist. Fit size M shorts.
      Need Large size from StepOne.

These people are drop shippers. Dont' buy from them. They cost $4 each from alibaba. The only difference is that Step One put their branding on their underwear otherwise it's the same underwear.

Couldn’t be happier with Step One! Had an issue with a single pair (of the dozen I own) and they promptly sorted it out with a replacement pair.

They have frequent discount codes, and 25% off is pretty standard.

    • happens to me, they replaced one immediately as well!

  • I’m actually somewhat disappointed with my StepOnes.
They’re incredibly comfortable, but they don’t seem to last very long.
I’ve had them for a year, about a dozen on rotation, and half of them are wearing through in the seat.
It’s bad enough that I’m considering trying a different brand.
Given how expend these are, I expected better.

Don't use bamboo underwear and expect it to last. It's not a bamboo trunk.

Get high quality underwear from big name brands like the tailors in UK, Tommy Hilfiger (not the cheap shit, get the ones sold in the USA), Calvin Klein, Rodd And Gunn, Charles Tyrwhitt etc.

      • Funny you mention Calvin Klein. I tried them. Found them horribly uncomfortable and the elastic felt really cheap and painful.

          Where'd you buy it from?

Always buy CK from their online or CK stores. Never buy from Costco or any factory outlets.
I've been using CKs for like 20 years+ and they're my favourite by far. Not too thick and not too thin.

Found them horribly uncomfortable and the elastic felt really cheap and painful.

Get the right size. It's cotton, what more do you want? Most CKs are 90-99% cotton. If the elastic is hurting you, then you should lose some weight or get a larger size.

    • Try Obviously underwear. Mine last a few years with 7 or 8 on rotation.

If you're a zookeeper in the Panda enclosure, these are not a good idea…

    • +2

I dont think pandas are interested in short bamboo shoots

        Depends how hungry they are…

Quite like the Kmart bamboo ones, 6 bucks each

    • +1 for Kmart ones.

    • +1, have replaced my entire underpants lineup with the Kmarts. Better than the StepOne I tried in the past.

  • Any reason to get bamboo underwear over the standard ones? I always see the Step One ads on TV, never bit.

    • Material is soft and comfy. But I hate the Step One ads on TV. Plenty of others out there. I've got some Boody underwear and they are lasting well.

  • BAMBOODAY78ZH discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart

  • As someone who has owned the Kmart ones and the StepOne ones…… save yourself a bunch of money and get the Kmart ones. $6/$8 for short and long trunk respectively. StepOne is literally just purchased straight from a Chinese bulk wholesaler, you can even see the StepOne logo in one of the AliBaba listings

    • Sadly the Kmart ones only go up to 2XL. Find them a little tight in the pouch. But the ozbargainer in me is willing to sacrifice for the savings.

      Which reminded me of this…

A MAN went to the doctors suffering from a severe headache for years on end.

The doctor said, “Joe, the good news is I can cure your headaches. The bad news is it will require castration.

“You have a rare condition which causes your testicles to press on your spine, and the pressure creates one hell of a headache. The only way to relieve the pressure is to remove the testicles.”

Joe was shocked but he knew he had no choice but to go under the knife.

When he left the hospital, he was without a headache for the first time in 20 years, and he truly believed he could make a new life.

He saw a men’s clothing store and thought, “That’s what I need … a new suit.”

He entered the shop and said, “I’d like a new suit.”

The elderly tailor eyed him briefly and said, “Let’s see … size 44 long.”

Joe laughed, “That’s right, how did you know?”

“Been in the business 60 years!” the tailor said.

Joe tried on the suit; it fit perfectly. The salesman asked, “How about a new shirt?”

Joe was on a roll. “Sure.” The salesman said, “Let’s see, 34 sleeves and 16 ½ neck.”

Joe said, “That’s right, how did you know?”

“Been in the business 60 years.” Joe tried on the shirt, and it fit perfectly.

Joe walked comfortably around the shop, and the salesman asked, “How about some new underwear?” Joe thought for a moment and said, “Sure.” The salesman said, “Let’s see … size 36.”

Joe laughed, “Ah ha! I got you, I’ve worn a size 34 since I was 18 years old.”

The salesman shook his head, “You can’t wear a size 34. A size 34 would press your testicles up against the base of your spine and give you one heck of a headache.”

Interested if there are identical Step one on alibaba. Had about 10 pairs on rotation over the past 12 months, one or two have some small holes but they are very comfy.

    • +1

They apparently have a 12 month warranty so just get the hole ones replaced. I had a dig around on Alibaba and AliExpress yesterday but couldn't find any the same. Last time I saw them they were only listed in S, M, L sizes.
