    • Still haven’t received it yet. Tracking says at Syd South West since 11th. Will call AusPost on Monday.

    • Got mine a few hours ago. Melbourne metro also. Hopefully yours comes soon

      • Wow, okie. So they delivered during weekend too! Good you received yours! Hope I will get mine soon!

        • I'm in the same boat. Hasn't moved since 10th.

        • have you got yours yet?

  • Anyone have an opinions on this versus the Dreame L10 pro for a similar price?

  • I'm having trouble to connect it to Xiaomi Home app, probably because my region is set to mainland China. I can set wifi for if manually but still not able to see the device in the app.

  • People who bought it through this deal, would you please share your review of this vacuum. Interested in buying this or roborock s5 max. Thanks.

    • Would this be your first robot vacuum purchase? I haven't had experience with roborock, but I've had other robovacs. Im happy with it mine. For a robo vac that self empties for 500 is a steal. What are feature your exactly after?

    • Vacuuming is good, very thorough. Mopping ok, but have found if there is water in tank and you leave mop on it will leave a trail of water when just vacuuming.
Mapping, here is its downfall. Originally I let it map the whole house, which it did well. Then to do just a certain area I had to do "area vacuum" physically creating a square area in the app.

Have since found that I will have to move the base station and block off areas in order to create a few "rooms" moving the base station to each area. Not sure this will result in it not finding its charging base after doing each "area" I am yet to find out. Because I wanted to leave the robot base station in one place suitable.

Today I discovered if picked up and taken to an unmapped area, it will lose the original whole house map, and not find its base station, though it did create two rooms.(which were subsequently lost as unable to find base station.)
I could get Google to start and stop vacuum, but since unable, as google seems to have lost it. I was hoping this would be good for my elderly mother, but if going to be this fiddly each time it won't be.
This is our first robot vac so I can't compare to others.

      • With the lost map, is it in your map list? tap the 3 dots on the upper right corner of the app and go to map list.

        • No, completely gone.I'm in process of creating "rooms/maps" by moving the base station each time. Have to set up physical barriers (door draft sausage) to help define the map/room.The S9 trying to climb over them so I use my hands to prevent that. I looked at the previous room map I had made and its not showing, maybe because I moved the base station?

          • @Creekbargain: I use virtual walls in the app to prevent it going near no-go areas such as under my desk with lots of wires. A bit tricky to fine tune as you can't really zoom in much but once programmed you shouldn't need any physical barriers. Also built a small ramp for it to navigate down a single step as the rear floor of my house is 8.5cm lower than the front.

      • Moving the base will usually affect the maps because the dock acts like a reference point. You can make multiple maps and make rooms and section off things. The manual doesn't help much in this aspect. But if you've used a robovac it's pretty good to grasp. I've only made the one map so far and have split different rooms and have laid in no mop zones and works a treat. PM me if you'd like and I can help out.

        • Hmm,moved the base back to original area and lost first "room created" looks like you are right, I may have to remap the whole house again? will I have to reset the S9 somehow? Originally I never found a way to split rooms or get virtual barriers to work or define rooms and go and no go/mop zones.Just seemed like there was one map (the whole house) not named room1-2 etc? where as doing what I just tried it has split rooms up into 1/2 and 3.,and then gives me the options to split merge and rename…weird.

          • @Creekbargain: Yeah that's a bit odd that it didn't create a couple rooms straight off. Maybe you moved the base when it started vacuuming? I'm not to sure. But yeah find a spot you're happy with for the base. You can clear the map and let it to it again and should make rooms straight off after it's done a cycle of your house. Then you can merge or split and do all the fun stuff.

            • @Mr Magoo: Yes, moving the base has not worked. So tomorrow will try remapping whole house from scratch. Pretty sure I did not move the base originally, but will try again.
