Seems to be the same price at Bunnings, would rather support Bunnings:

    • yes- that was first line in the OP description.
my local ones did not have stock.

    • May I ask why

      • +1

Australian business, with a higher amount of Australian labour. Every dollar that gets funneled out of Australia (to Amazon or even worse, their holding companies in tax havens) doesn't circulate through the economy. Also the Bunnings employees that get paid when I buy something at my local Bunnings are people in my local area, not from a distribution centre in the city. For example I know half a dozen kids through my cricket club who work at my local Bunnings, they have jobs because people shop there.

It's not quite the OzBargain mantra, but where I get the choice between the two being equivalent, I will try to support the locally owned business employing local people. I get that they're all faceless corporations to most people, so what's the difference.

  • polypropylene construction ensures long lasting durability. — I doubt plastic garden tool is that durable. Best to get a metal rake..lasts lifetime.

Rake of choice for a lot of contractors. It doesn’t scratch decking, tiles or concrete like metal ones and the large flat surface makes it easy to pick up leaf piles.

  • Have this rake it is well worth it. Note the plastic is fairly flexible so light duties only.

  • $19.95 at Total Tools and you don't have to wait 1-2 months.

  • Although $10 more, this is well worth the spend: https://www.bunnings.com.au/fiskars-xl-solid-leaf-rake_p0014…
