    Will this work on Windows?

    • +2

Its Bluetooth, will work on anything.

For anyone who just rocks the basic mouse at home and work id recommend this or the V2.

I've had the V2 for years and still going strong, holds a charge longer than a week.

      • it's the same as this right?

Not sure why digi would put "For Mac" on their title

        • Actually looking at this its only for Mac and iPadOS. Weird as they have the normal 3 which works for both.

The MX Master 3 for Mac comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable.

The MX Master 3 model on the PCByte link comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable.

@Twix: Furthermore, the Mac version does not come with the Logitech unifying receiver dongle (which only exists in the USB-A form factor).

            • +2

@DoctorCalculon: Yep in addition to the dongle the colour is slightly different with a touch of space grey for the Mac version.

              • @Olliesh:

with a touch of space grey for the Mac version

Correct, and it perfectly matches the space grey colour of SG MB and MBPs.

      • I've got the V1 and it has a design flaw, so I'm looking to upgrade. I really like the mouse but I switch between bluetooth and wireless all the time so that flaw is really annoying.

    Waiting for sub 100.

u gonna be waiting a while

Yeah, the 3 is just not dropping in price and it's been a long time now since release.

I've got the 2s - LOVE it - so not rushing to upgrade but would consider at the right price.

Looks like I'll probably have the 2s for a long time before a decent iterative improvement forces my hand to front up the cash.

      • The 4 or even a 3s can't be too far off?

    • $129 at MSY (Out-of-Stock) and cheaper still with Officeworks price match…..

      https://www.msy.com.au/online/mouses/4322-logitech-mx-master…

      • Officeworks won't price match if it's out of stock

  • If this is the Mac one, I wonder if Logitech stock replacements of the "for Mac" in their warranty inventory.? I had a MX Keys for Mac that I had to log a warranty request for and they came back and offered a replacement, but for the non-Mac version… stating that they don't stock the Mac version for replacement!

  • Been waiting for them to send my Windows version for weeks…

  • Just canceled the Win version from them, 'cause I have been waiting for more than one month for delivery.
And then ordered from Harvey Norman last week, got it today.

$30 off paid with Latitude, so the same price as this post

  • Not sure about this one since you can get the Windows one from Wireless 1 eBay for AU $123.25:

    • That one has always been cheaper than Mac version

Bought the mx3 earlier this year (used on mac) - just thought id leave some of my personal opinions in case new buyers were curious :)

    What i liked:
    - comfortable relaxed grip (even tho i have smaller hands)
    - best feature was being able to use the additional gesture features to swipe between desktops (super customisable!)
    - long battery life !!

    What i didn't like:
    - occasionally the scroll wheel will jump around when scrolling (numerous complaints w this)
    - took a while to get used to having a relaxed grip over the mouse (maybe cos my hands r small lmao)
    - bluetooth/unifying receiver problem here n there (super annoying) - basically there are some occasions where the mouse would spaz out and lag/jump around. Defs some workarounds to get through this, but its honestly a bit frustrating considering the price you're paying for the mouse.

Actually likely to be a bug with Apple Handoff. Disabling Handoff on the Mac fixed this for me.

  • The MOST frustrating issue I've had with the Logitech MX Master 2S is the damn scroll. Can ANYONE provide the solution to this? There's times where the scroll will work inconsistently or cease to work at all. I've played around on Logi Options software, disabling SmartShift sensitivity, increasing and decreasing also. I just can't seem to find a fix for this after countless hours of searching the web, haha.

    • Hmm i have the 2s and ive had no problems with scrolling. This might be something to do with the dust inside the scrollwheel part collecting. You might want to open the mouse up and clean it out.

      • I think I will. Thanks

  • Kogan is doing $124?
