  • Is this a good deal??

    • Would prefer i7 over i5, but its not bad.

    • In the current market the GPU, CPU and mobo will run you almost $2000 alone depending on whether you get everything on sale, so I'd say the value is pretty solid.

Good deal if you don't want to build the PC yourself and pick/wait for parts.

Works out roughly to be: 2833.54aud (cheapest in stock price)
      Source: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/YmdXxc

I have to guess the following parts: 3070 GPU (cheapest in stock), 500gb NVME, 650w power supply

obviously you could get it cheaper(~$400 cheaper) if you pre order the recent 3070 from PLE, again it's pre-order not instock.

  • this deal has been up on their site for weeks now

Still a good price no? Unless you've found something better?

Should qualify for the battlefield 2042 promotion too, can the rep confirm?

    • What BF2042 promotion…I want to get a pc to play BF2042

Buy an RTX Card, get 2042 I believe is what's being referred to… or you could look at it like a $2000 game with a free PC attached?

  • Anything deals for an entry level gaming pc under $1000?

    • Considering any half decent gpu made in the last few years go for at least $800 minimum now id say not really.

Entry level for gaming pc starts at around $1400 now

  • I heard build quality is not the best?

Thanks! bought this after missing out on the one I was going to buy from Scorptec by one day. Good to finally upgrade after 9 years!! within my 15km radius too, woo.

  • Better to wait for Black Friday?

    • Same here, don't want to regret and cry, haha

I've recently purchased a prebuild with BPC and I'm posting this on the next few deals just because I believe it's important.

The turnaround time on my order was close to a month, which was understandable given the amount of orders they had. Took another week through AusPost to arrive. Once I received it and opened the case, I immediately noticed that not only did they fit the system with a 600w PSU instead of a 650w, they also gave me a RTX 3060 instead of the 3060TI. I had to get it back to them almost an hour away (which I was only able to do because a family member has a travel permit) and then had to specifically request them to express ship it back to me. Called them on a Tuesday evening, they made out like they'd just sent it off (they forgot) and I received it first thing Wednesday morning. From there, the spare HDD I ordered with it wasn't plugged into the power, the copy of Windows wasn't activated and the cable management behind the closed panel was pretty awful.

If I didn't know what to look for, I wouldn't have noticed that a few hundred dollars of product wasn't in my order. In terms of rectifying their mistake, they did virtually nothing. Not even an apology. I had to instigate everything with them in order to fix the issues they created.

All I'll say is when you receive yours, check every box and every part inside to make sure it's what you purchased. One error I can understand and I want to assume this is all a mistake, but to undercut me on two important components of my build with the insane run around is seriously bordering on suspect.

    • wat did u do with the cable management ?

      • Fixed it, lol. It's not disastrous, it's behind the plating so you can't see it.

  • Any 3060ti rig deals coming?

    • Ive been looking online and found this

      https://techfast.com.au/products/TechFast-Express-AMD-Ryzen-…

Not sure how good they are but a mate knows a few people that have placed orders from Techfast without issues

      • Wow, I reckon the Techfast PC you've linked is not a bad deal considering current prices. Having said that, this BPC deal is using some decent branded parts which I don't think you will always get with Techfast.
