Released in 2015 so this is far from the most recent a7 series body, but at this price I think it's a good deal. The a7R II was a spec monster when it was released and despite no longer being top of the line still holds up well today.

From DPreview:

• 42MP Full Frame BSI CMOS sensor
• 399 on-sensor Phase Detection points
• 5-axis image stabilization
• Internal 4K recording from full sensor width or 'Super' 35 crop
• Picture Profile system including ITU-709 and S-Log2 gamma
• Full magnesium alloy construction
• 2.36m dot OLED viewfinder with 0.7x magnification

Considering it's several hundred cheaper than the popular deals on the broadly comparable a7 III, and the cheapest way to get any new full frame a7 by some margin, I'd say this is a pretty great deal.

    Is the A7M3's auto-focusing better than the A7R2? Been looking at the 7R for better resolution for landscape photography.

      Definitely better. I think 24MP is plenty for majority of people, unless you require huge prints.

      Do you need better auto focus for landscape shots tho 🤔 the resolution might be a bigger benefit if you want to crop or print larger.

        No I don't. But if the A7R2 matches or at least closes on the A7M3 AF performance then I can keep a single body for most situations. I can say that the A7M3 is quite competitive especially when I don't need large prints.
