  Is it true that you get what you paid for in paint? I have always insist on Dulux paint not sure if this has changed over the years.

    Amazing how much difference there is in Paints. I still think Dulux is king. But Wattyl is a very close second. At $11 per litre you can't go wrong. You will get away with 1 or 2 coats tops.

    In comparison a Bunnings $11 per litre paint is 2 coats minimum, likely 3.

      I tried Walpamur Low Sheen ($49.50/4L or $145.90/15L, so $9.7-$12.3 per litre) for changing the colour of the kids' room and it was surprisingly good. Was almost ok after 1 coat and completely covered after the 2nd. Highly recommended.

        I just read and found that Walpamur is actually made by Dulux.
