I don't understand why the AMD version has a much worse screen than the Intel version.

There can't possible be a good reason for it when the processing power and power draw of an AMD current Gen is better than the latest Intel Gen CPUs.

    • The screen quality doesn't relate to performance of the AMD CPU, which is currently better then Intel. It could be what is available to supply to the ANZ region from the factory due to the global chip shortage. It could also relate to MDF from Intel or AMD for this specific product.

  • Still waiting on a similar 5850U P14s Gen 2 model to even get a shipping date since early Sept. I wouldn't put your luck if you're wanting it soon.

    • Me too.

      • It's now changed to ship "Mid October" on the product page… Still no expected shipping date.

        • Mine's delivered today. The build date for mine is August 2021 so I'm a little baffled why it took so long to get here.

          • @mini2: Ah got mine then too. I think they were on a ship getting here, because it was sent from Sydney.

            Decent machine!
