  If it has a range of 5m then I doubt it would endanger anything. In fact the range is too short to be reliably used in a classroom or lecture theatre - methinks.

    5 meters is the range of the RF signal for the 'forward' and 'back' buttons. Relatively useless for presenting unless you have a long usb cable lol

  I bought a laser pointer from meritline some time ago and got it captured by customs. So be warned.
