  • What is the cheapest plan for this?

    • I think it is $65 so could profit $35 if you cancel before your second month

  • Shame that data plans aren't eligible for this.

  • Stack with the current offer on the extra-large sim only plan for an extra $100 gift card, not too bad.

    $95 a month for 50Mbps lmfaoo

    • its also $95 for 100Mbps

  • So I recently signed up for both a new 5g home internet plan and also a new XL mobile plan (when the Iphone 13 came out) and I contacted Telstra support to ask if I could get 2 x $100 gift cards and they said I could and should receive them within 7 days (of signing up).

I told them I had already signed up and they said I should still get the gift cards, but I kept the conversation reference just in case.

There is no mention of when the offer starts (just before Oct 25th for Internet and Nov 15 for mobiles), so it will be interesting to see their response when I recontact them to state I haven't received the gift cards and have proof of the support conversation to state I would be eligible…

I don’t trust anything from that Telstra app saying, all lies, wasting time and useless.

  • This is for "New services only". Guess it won't work if i just change my Telstra phone plan but keeping the same number.

    • I moved from a post-paid to upfront and just got the offer in my inbox. Looks like no issue if you’re already with Telstra.

      • How many days did the gift card take to arrive?

        • +1

I made the change on the 18th and got the voucher on the 26th.

      • Ok, thanks for that, i just changed to the Upfront Mobile Plan Medium 80GB for $65 Monthly.

      • Did you end up getting your voucher? I was not on a contract and decided to jump up to the $65 plan from the $55 plan, but Telstra are saying it's for new services only. Is a contract not a new service?

        • Hi, yes i just got it yesterday they sent a unique redeem code. I was on $69 Jb-hifi plan then jumped to this $65 plan, i kept my number too.

          • @WIND: Hmm, maybe it won't work for me as I'd already changed from the JB plan to a Telstra plan not on contract.

  • Has anyone received it? I bought a Pixel 6 but nothing yet.

    • Did you pick a plan when you bought your Pixel 6?

      • Yes I did, the XL plan

    • I'm still waiting after 2 weeks.. Have asked them and they said that they are busy, was meant to be 7 days but they said it may be up to 14….

Got it after talking to the second rep who created an inquiry and provided me a ref number

    • Thanks, just did that too, they tried to tell me it is 3 months wait first though.

Be warned, they won't honour this deal if you sign up for a new plan and new phone but keep the same number… pretty annoying.
